News:
-The Early Fall Event, "Set Sail! Combined Fleet, to the West!" is underway and will last until early October. It is a medium-scale event and the EO will take place in Europe again. The main operation consists of 3 maps; E-1 is "Southwestern Front, Bali Island", E-2 is "Western Front, North of the Malacca Strait", and E-3 is "Western Front, Southwest of Ceylon Island". The Extra Operations have been implemented, with E-4 being "The Winds of Genoa" and E-5 "Sortie at Full Strength! The New Operation Rheinübung".
-Friendly Fleets (NPC) are now available for E-3, E-4, and E-5. E-4 and E-5 received more friendly fleets.
-A new experimental cut-in, Nelson Touch, has been implemented for testing.
-There are five new shipgirls, one of which is Battleship Nelson (E-5 reward) who is voiced by Nomizu Iori and illustrated by Konishi, while escort carrier Shin'you is the main operation reward (E-3) and illustrated by Shibafu. Shin'you comes with a what-if Kai Ni as well. The Swedish seaplane cruiser Gotland is available as a drop in E-4/5 and is illustrated by drew. Yuugumo-class Kishinami is available as a drop from E-2 and E-3. The E-4 reward is Italian Destroyer Maestrale.
-New equipment available as an E-3 reward is the Type 97 Torpedo Bomber (931 Air Group / Skilled).
-The July ranking rewards have been distributed. The new equipment are the Bofors 15.2cm Twin Gun Mount Model 1930, the S9 Osprey, and the Ju 87C Kai Ni (w/ KMX). The new equipment is related to new ships coming in the event and the event after that. The Stuka is from a what-if scenario modified for ASW and to be used on Shin'you.
-Yuugumo-class will get more Kai Ni this year. Hyuuga will receive a Kai Ni this year as well.
-There are already plans for the 7th year of KanColle.
-Numerous Fletchers will be implemented in the 6th year. bob will illustrate Japanese Seaplane Tender Nisshin for the event after the Early Fall Event. Matsu-class from the Type D Destroyers are being prepared for the 7th year of KanColle.
-There are plans for expanding ASW with equipment from the land of black tea like ASDIC and hedgehogs.
-Full implementation of 2nd Sequence may take a year. Each Block will have new features added.

Well this is what I fixed, thanks for the help. If I lack FP in P2 I can always switch out Graf and Kumano for 2CVLs and still have 6 ships, and switching Richie and Biscuit to escort shouldn't cause a problem either from the fleets I saw. Thanks for the help.

Even on p3? Bummer. I was thinking of doing P1 with Ark, Graf, Aquila & whoever, then save the armored carriers for P2 in case there was something to that CTF strategy where the CV's with red planes would direct their attacks on ships instead of installations.

And planes are raped hard in P2.

That's why most use Intrepid because her absurd plane slots help a ton there. You can even score AS against one of the wo kai formation in node P while still equipping her with red and blue plane.

Is E-4 hard feasible without any pastas? Was thinking of tossing Musashi, Nagato, and Abukuma at the boss now that I realized I don't have to worry about E-5's ship locks due to a lack of Europeans for hard mode

So true. Just finished E-4 ten minutes ago. Gotland & friends reduced her from almost 600 to 203 hp, then Ooshio followed up with 201 dmg & Roma finished it.

Incredibly lucky how my E-4 LD turned out. Failed the first time, barely doing any damage, then the second run had Re in line ahead, but it was Red T & she MISSED. My dupe Roma somehow hit the PT imps with a double salvo & Ooshio one-shot supply hime afterwards. Oh, I also GOTland on my final subcheese before LD.

I don't know about phase 2 since I'm still clearing but Phase 1 was a walk in the park. I didn't even bother with support until LD and only because I had 2 close LD where CA Hime became a sponge.

Why are you using dive bombers on the biggest slots? Are you aware of how airstrike damage works? Torpedo bombers have better damage potential, so they should always be placed on the biggest slots

The TBM needs to be on the largest slot possible too. Carrier NBCI scales based on yasen plane slot size and Tsu exists, so you want the TBM occupying the largest possible slot

Good day, gentlemen. Do tell me - do I need to bother with the other route on E4N or do I just keep sending subs to nibble that pasta DD till it's LD phase?

since I am running low on IRL time - I will casul the next map anyway, so I might as well use my best boats on this map. Do I really need Zara duo this much, or would Yura with tanks and rockets suffice?
