The following ships are confirmed to have post-cap bonuses (about 1.5x) on E-3H (for P3 boss only, not the rest of her fleet):

For the CV bonus previously discussed, the damage boost has been narrowed down to dive bombers rather than T97s/T99s/etc. Stack up on those before hitting the P3 boss, and pray for snipes. (Iwai can also be used for night CV cut-in.)

[Akagi, Souryuu, and Hiryuu are probably still valid choices though, better than Unryuus yet not as important as other CVs that locking them to this map will cost you later on.]

But you should probably wait for friend fleets to be implemented for E-3 P3 this weekend for even easier clearing.

TB+DB+DB+fighter is not too bad, some DBs give supplementary FP.

Also, further supplement FP with SPFs on your subtank, and on Tones in your escort fleet, and with Iwai & night fighters on your CVL. Combined fleet versus combined fleet takes into account FP from both main and escort fleet.

Phase 1
Main Fleet: 1 CAV + 1 CVL (Taiyou) + 4 daihatsu-capable DD
Escort Fleet: 1 CL (Kinu) + 4 DD + 1 CA (Zara)

Notes:
-CAV had FCF just in case, and 3 SPFs for FP
-Taiyou had 1 TB + 2 Fighters + speed boost equipment (RE slot too)
1 CAV + 1 CVL has random chance of taking an extra node (B) at the start (refer to routing rules), but it's survivable
-I guess you can try 1 LHA instead of 1 CVL but I don't know how viable that is as I didn't try it
-Zara had 1 SPF to help with FP at boss
-1 Akizuki-class in Escort for AACI
-Escort fleet had 2 Daihatsu-capable DDs too, ran 2 DD guns 1 Daihatsu on each (Kinu & Main Fleet DDs were stuffed full of Daihatsu)
-Last DD had 2 DD guns one radar (surface so doesn't override Akizuki-class AACI) for LoS
-17 + 1 Daihatsu equipped across both fleets (+1 for Kinu's innate Daihatsu, I think that's still counted)
-You get ~133 TP points per A-rank run with this, I swapped out one DD gun equip on escort during the final run for a drum, because 133*3=399, just 1 point shy of 400 and I had no more Daihatsu
-Use 1 tank-capable Daihatsu DD here so that you can reuse it for the HP phase to nuke Harbour Princess, save on locks

LBAS:
-4 bombers to D (guess you could try node I if the CVL's giving you more trouble than the imps)
-1 fighter 3 bombers to the boss (L)
-4 interceptors to shit on enemy air raids

Unlocking HP Phase & Shortcut:
You need to A+-rank nodes O & R to unlock the HP Phase. You may also need to A+-rank node Q, but you pass through that node on the way to O & R anyway and it's not that hard to A+-rank it while passing through.

Node O:
Single fleet - 2JQPO
-Bring 3 DDs so that you can get routed to P (instead of R) and so you can get the shorter route from P to O.
-I used 1CV 1FBB 3DD 1CA; you can start using Pastas (including Zara from TP phase) from here on that you plan to use for the HP Phase
-1DD Akizuki-class, 2DDs anti-installation
-LBAS: Toukais to P to smash subs, 1 fighter 3 bombers to O (you only need an A rank anyway); interceptors intercept as usual

Node R:
Single fleet - 2JQR
-I used 2DD 2CV 2FBB (threw in Aquila who is useless and a random Unryuu), but based on routing you can get there with 1 or fewer DD too (make up your own comp in this case)
-LBAS: Anyway, Toukai to shit on subs at R, you don't even need ASW equips for this, 1 fighter 3 bombers can help out with J instead

And that unlocks the non-shortcut route the boss, along with node S.

Fuck, I forgot to talk about support expeditions up until now:
-TP phase, both supports
-Unlocking for O & R: Not necessary for R, O node support might be helpful but not strictly necessary
-For node S below: Yes, run node support, you're going through a number of nodes
-(O, R & S obviously don't need boss supports since there is no boss node involved.)


Following that, you need to A+ rank node S with a combined fleet (that isn't a Transport Fleet). Take an STF with no more than 1 CVL; more than 1 CVL routes you to the CV Hime node. 1 or more CVs definitely routes you to the CV Hime node (this was me running my comp), so it has to be 1 CVL. I guess you can try to be creative and supplement with the CAV used in the TP phase and/or a LHA here again.

Please don't take a CTF because 1) It'll definitely route you to the CV Hime node (C), and 2) unless you really have nothing better to do with your CV(L)s they are probably better used elsewhere.

Node S:
-Both STF & CTF route to the maelstrom node E (CTF via C, STF via D), so bring at least 1 radar (probably on an Akizuki-class if you bring her for this run, if not any DD really).
-All non-transport combined fleets route through A, so dedicate one LBAS to shitting on the Sub Hime at A. You may also want to dedicate 1-2 escort fleet DDs to OASW (or mixed OASW + anti-installation).
-The other LBAS should go to the node S to soften it up (4 bombers; node S has even less of a FP requirement than the previous node O).
-I used 1 CAV + 2 CA + 2 FBB + 1 CV / 5 DD + 1CL, but the CV almost screwed me over by routing me through C (as above), so I recommend 1 CVL instead. (I made it to node S, but would not recommend risking it.)
-I used Zara & Pola here for CAs, but I understand Pola may be useful in E-5 since she can carry SPFs (not 100% certain how useful this is), so any CA will do really.
-FBBs should be both Italians if you have them (since you will be using them for HP Phase for the bonus); I only have 1, so it was Italia and a Bongou for me.
-DDs & CL in escort fleet should be recycled from TP phase as much as possible to manage shiplocking. Some DD guns are useful for dealing with the imps in node D, the rest should have anti-installation gear for node S.
-Assuming you don't fuck up with the CV like I did, you should route 1ABDEFGS.
-A+-rank node S.

With that, the shortcut to the west is unlocked.

There are 2 options for chipping:

1) Run 6 SSV (taking into account the weird equipment-related routing limitations), go to the boss, and hit stuff.
-Route: 2JQPTU
-Passing rate is arguably lower than taking a surface fleet, but it's cheap chipping.
-Most dangerous nodes are J and to a smaller extent T.
-Results at boss vary depending on performance of SSVs, LBAS, and friend fleet.
-4 bombers on each LBAS, both to boss.
-Both support expeditions too.

2) Take the same fleet you are going to inevitably have to use for LD. What I used was 2DD 1CV 1CA 2FBB.

Fleet breakdown:
1 anti-installation DD. WG42 + Type 2 Tank + 11th Toku Daihatsu.
1 Akizuki-class DD. 2 x 10cm+AAFD + WG42. (Still triggers AACI, think it has a lower proc rate but can't remember details; you can run full AACI if the air battle nodes hurt a lot, but I didn't have too many problems, especially with sparkling.)
1 CV with night gear. Iwai Zero M62 + F6F-3N + F6F-5N + Night Ops. (I used Intrepid because her 40-slot is very difficult even for Tsu to wipe, and she can make AS most of the time with this set-up, less LD air battle nodes. I've also seen people running Sara in her night ops variant, but up to you.)
1 CA is Zara with T3 shell.
2 FBB should ideally be Italians with T3 shells (there is nothing that really needs AP shells in this phase, even Re dies to this if you get lucky).

-Route: 2JQWVU
-Passing rate is either slightly better or roughly the same, because pre-boss node V has a Re in either Echelon or Line Ahead, depending on your luck.
-But fleet basically shits on the boss once they get there, up until Last Dance. LD is a bit tougher but definitely still doable.
-(On LD, air battle nodes Q & W also get higher FP requirements, but generally a CV with good slots can manage if Tsus on other nodes don't butcher planes too badly.)
-4 bombers on each LBAS, both to boss.
-Both support expeditions too.

The moment your anti-installation DD (in my case, Arare) touches the Supply Depot, she gets vapourised. Similar effect on the boss at night (relatively high damage, might just be the WG42s though), and your Italians should mop up if boss isn't dead yet.

2nd boss is much tougher, so you should just concentrate your fleet on breaking the 2nd boss and then use your STF fleet for the last kill.

For the debuff you only need to A rank the boss so eating the extra air raid node is nothing so you dont really need 6bong/euro.

This is what got there.First time I've seen the correct route so a ton of optimization needs to be done, was just throwing stuff at the wall to see what stuck. Some notes from a lot of testing:

-You need at least 6 (French +Italian + German + Russian(?) - At least trashcan) to avoid S
-I'm not sure if it needs to be split 3/3 like I have now, I doubt it but haven't tested yet
-I also tried using Commandant Teste in the main fleet, which worked to avoid S node, but then routed me back towards boss 2, so I think AV's are out.
-Ever since I put prinz (as flag) and bisko together in the main fleet I've been noticing some oddly high damage output. Dunno if it's actually anything but the damage has been high enough against the supporting himes to make note of. But it could be any of the other 20 things I'm trying here.
-Ise isn't using speed buffs, so speed doesn't matter.
