Touhou canon is near nonexistent, beyond the games. I hear even SSiB is fucking with that now too.

Make no mistake. Touhou is about nothing more than little girls and bullets. Perhaps reading the endless supply of doujin about said girls and bullets. There is a story, but it more of a loose guideline.
