Is /jp/ all there in the head?

>> No.1983211

/jp/ is about 6 bottles short of a 6 pack...

>/jp/ is an infinite amount of bottles short of a finite amount.

>> No.1983215

Maybe. Sometimes not so sure, especially in the moments where I'm just waking up. Weird shit happens in my head.

>> No.1983218

Hey guys, it's highly likely you're not insane. Most everyone has personality quirks that they suspect of being insanity, but that's personality quirk, not the real article.

>> No.1983225

I hate thinking whether I'm sane, because it makes me paranoid that I'm not really sane, and I just think I am, and then I start to think of this paranoia as a sign of lack of sanity, and...

..and I stop worrying because there's really no way to know if you're really covering up your insanity, or if you're an autist who is just imagining your whole life as you know, so it doesn't really matter.

I knew being entombed for centuries wouldn't do a thing to my charismatic, bubbly nature! I'm the same as I was back in 1330!

Anonymous, Have you ever seen a shadow with the shape of a human in the corner of your eye only to have it disappear when you looked directly at it? They're called 'shadow people', even scientifically. Supposedly, they're related to a human mind filling in unused portions of peripheral vision with familiar imagery. But that's not really correct.

Anonymous, do you ever wonder why, when following a death that no one has witnessed, the first thing one does is attempt to confirm the identity of the body? Naturally, in the modern age, a body's identity would be crucial to various things, but why was this attempted even before society grew to this level?

Anonymous, Do you believe in the supernatural? When someone dies unseen, they are dead, but they themselves are not quite dead. Until someone can confirm the body as theirs, there's a possibility... A possibility that they aren't dead yet. All they need do is find someone to look in the face, and they'd survive.

Anonymous, Those humanoid shadows are the remains of the unseen dead clutching violently to life. They're attempting to get you to look at their faces, and prove they haven't died. The moment you look and no longer see anything there is the moment their window of opportunity has vanished.

However... Sometimes they succeed. How, might you ask? A body has already been found, but it's identity is the only thing unknown... Well, Anonymous. The minute you look one of these creatures in the eye is the moment you take it's place. That formerly unidentified body? It was yours.

It doesn't change the fact that you're OLD.

I would not call someone who picked shoulder-length hair over ankle-length hair sane. Face it, those years of solitude slowly got to you.

The insane don't think of themselves as insane. I believe you're insane and in denial.

I could live centuries alone. The only thing that would bother me would be being a filthy vampire. I hate vampires.

Not too sure about that. I mean, sure, looking at guro seems to please some horrific and violent part of me, but isn't that natural?

I sometimes think that I'm walking the line between eccentricity and insanity, but I don't worry about it. Why should I? It's not like I have friends or a girlfriend to worry about what they think of me.

>> No.1983260

>>1983255
Eccentric people don't care about being eccentric because being eccentric is a good thing. Nobody here isn't a little crazy, at least to the border of eccentricity.

Being like this makes people generally stay away from you but still respect you, which is a fantastic thing for the common NEET or other recluse.

What.

Come on, anonymous. The grand majority of people in life will not consider you nerd vermin. The handful that do will try and make you feel bad about it, but in the end they are a very small factor. The only person that really doesn't respect an eccentric is himself, and even then only occasionally.

I didn't really have a say in the matter when it came to having my hair shorn, though...Altrouge took it as her personal trophy.

And by what standards does anonymous judge insanity? What do you get when you don't consider yourself part of the society around you and have no actual morals? The line between being insane and being diffrent from those around you has slowly diminishedthroughout civilisation.
