So... if you suspended Mokou above an industrial quality wood chipper such that her entire lower body and only her lower body was fed into it... when she reforms, would she again be subjected to the agonizing rending of her entire lower body? Would this go on ad infinitum? If she could feel pain from Yuyuko cooking her liver, would she also feel pain from the separated gore chunks still inside the machinery? Would they disappear when she reforms, or would she feel... in essence, twice the pain from the chunks AND her newly reformed lower body? Could this pain be unendingly iterative, an exponentially multiplying unyielding torment of unreasonable agony lasting as long as the durability of the wood chipper will allow?

How AWESOME would her screams be?

I think you'd endlessly be cutting off the regrowing chunky parts.
It'd hurt like dick regardless.

>Would this go on ad infinitum?

The Wood Chipper can't run for eternity. It will either decay to the point that the blades can no longer cut her flesh, or its power will give out.

>If she could feel pain from Yuyuko cooking her liver, would she also feel pain from the separated gore chunks still inside the machinery?

Yuyuko would cook HER along with the liver, as the liver is what comprises her immortality. Parts separated from the liver stop feeling feelings.

It does complicate things when you're talking about one restraining of the most powerful humans on the planet for an indefinite amount of time when she can reflexively melt the entire area surrounding her.

This is why Kaguya never just locks her up or anything, and visa versa. Kaguya has her 5 Impossible Requests to explode anything that would restrain her.

Of course not.

Even Gods are touchable in Gensokyo.

But there ARE upper-tiers of power, and Mokou belongs in them.

Remember, it took the pairing of a Youkai and a human to beat her to the point of her surrendering through the pain.
If she doesn't want to surrender and doesn't give up because it hurts, immortality is a handy helper in a fight.

>> No.1975646

meh, it's one of those silly questions that really doesn't need too much thought into.

In any case, whenever Mokou dies in the game, she resurrects cleanly anew and where she died but in her starting position. So I'd assume lethal injury like that would just cause her to respawn out of captivity.

Though it isn't canon, doujins seem to agree that neither Mokou or Kaguya can indefinitely trap one another like that without them simply respawning out of it so the conflict can never really be resolved by just simply encasing one in concrete or something.

Though really we don't need to encourage power level discussions on Mokou. Her trick is she doesn't stay dead, that's all you need to know.

Kaguya is just as immortal, so you should probably try it on her first. Her screams should be more intense since she's used to a NEET lifestyle and so the sunlight will be unbearable for her, whereas it would just recharge the healthy and energetic Mokou.

>> No.1975701

I could probably count on my fingers the number of residents of Gensokyo capable of doing anything like the OP suggests to Mokou that her immortality and phoenix flames couldn't get her out of.

Probably one hand, actually. Yukari is the only one who comes immediately to mind. It's already been said canon that Yuyuko and Shikieiki's powers don't work on Mokou, which shows how absurdly powerful her immortality makes her.
