Yeah an aoe attack does way more than the damage healed so it's basically a wasted turn. When they do buff healers, hopefully they don't go overboard. Defensive teams decked out with sudden attack gear is already a pain to deal with with a squishy attack team. I'm sure they'll have their uses for PvE for longer, more drawn out fights whenever that content comes along.

Don't bother farming for them specifically. Farm for shards, that's what I do and I've gotten like 8 of them. Also don't farm outside of full burst hour. They only have a chance of appearing in rainbow chests and rainbow chests only appear if you beat them within a set amount of time.

I don't see it happening, since it's pretty trashy and would be out of place in the cute feel-good kind of game that FKG is. Their take on hemp is also likely to be innocent, because Japanese varieties of the plant apparently have little narcotic effect, so it's seen as rope material and little else. Its flower meaning ("destiny, inevitability") is probably linked to this as well.

Hop remains the closest relative of hemp that is in the game, and Saffron or Cuphea could also be up your alley.

It's a lot harder to pin down due to the Lapis Lazuli "balance" update and Garnet's subsequent buff (which conflicts heavily with Lapis Lazuli) but Amber is still mandatory so you aren't destroyed by status. Offensive teams are way better than before because damage buffs can be stacked so high. Defensive teams can still sort of compete, but the loss of survivability is extremely blatant and healers other than Amber are a total waste of time. Even Amber becomes a complete liability the moment someone falls under half health because she wastes so many turns trying to heal.

Regardless, Amber, Lapis Lazuli, and Malachite are all top-tier. Morganite is still useful to have but I'm not sure if she's meta anymore - I'm seeing a lot less Sapphire due to how much other mindbendingly obnoxious fuckery is available.

Lapis and Malachite are pretty much basic human rights before you can even start PvP, then use either Amber or White Onyx. Skip Amber and White Onyx if you are going for hyperoffense. Morganite is very common, if you see an enemy team without morganite you can be pretty sure that they have freeze amulets mixed in with stun amulets.

Flex/Personal choice picks (unranked) include Citrine, Sakura Ishi, Milky Quartz, Black Opal, Diamond, Garnet, Topaz, Opal, Peridot, Apatite, Smoky Quartz, Tourmaline, Chrysoprase, Moonstone, Amethyst, Black Onyx, Inca Rose, Tiger's Eye, Turquoise and Blue Zoisite.

The story of the Otogi collab event was pretty much Stadoya going to the Otogi world to open a branch of their Starbucks equivalent. She ends up being the only one going over and suddenly her dimensional gate closes.
After some bullying from the Otogi cast and the obligatory Elmite outbreak, they decide to keep Stadoya as a battle spirit since she has no way to go back and otherwise would be lonely.

It's the level 34-36+ Lapis Lazulis that are a nightmare and make PvP an exercise in futility whenever they appear.

Peridot backrow solo ensures she has the full 40% Attack bonus from the regalia board. Next you bring Lapis with her 50% defense debuff, or jadeite with 40%, to enhance Peridot's total damage. Morganite to at least stop a round of freeze. This is then followed up with Malachite or Garnet for the 60% Attack boost, and Sakura/Citrine/Opal for damage taken up debuff. The last slot can be damage dealt up from Topaz or Rock Crystal, both providing 30% dealt up, alternatively Morion, Turquoise, Apatite, Blue Zoisite to further increase damage. Front row damage isn't important, as your main damage is Peridot and only peridot. Super Sapphire isn't really that threatening, just time wasting.

You already have the basics down, I'd recommend additional ranged support in the form of Sybilla or Ibuki (who has her 2AW scheduled this month, you may want to wait and see if she gets something good out of it) or Orochihime for her relevant-to-everywhere attack reduction. Frederica is alright too but the attack speed is too low for actual DPS, she's more for swarm control.

As for plats, some more heavy-duty DPS (Elizabeth, Clarice, Cenote, Konoha, Leimei, Shiena, Blanche, Anelia, Dolce, Bashira if you've got nothing else) and a couple of back-up tanks/duelists (Palfy, Lynchos, Nadia) could be good. Consider raising some useful classes like dancers, rearguards, druids, and priest warriors as well: the first two are staple in majin because of their broken class traits (and active in Leona's case), druids can be used as poor man's Rinne, and priest warriors are handy whenever a stage doesn't offer enough ranged slots for healing.

Stuff that freezes enemy units in place. Shu-Xian has multiple tokens that do just that (beside herself), which is why she is one of the most broken units in the game. Rakshasa works in a similar way, as does Melvina. Kokoro throws time stop bombs, and Blanche SAW has a time stop effect too. Be on the lookout for these units if you don't have any of them.
I also second >>19708002 's idea of getting a druid (even just Laurier), though I don't think Ibuki will be saved by her upcoming 2AW.

That skill has 3 turns of uptime and 5 turns of CD so it's not like you're losing much tempo inbetween cool downs.

The ability spec boost on burst looks like a joke, if they had made her ST and AoE nukes multiple hits rather than one big hit each it would be better.
Still, we don't have the numbers so it could be something big like 100%, still not very optimal, but passable.

It's a Treasure Rally Event (which returned pretty damn fast, wasn't the last one only a few Events back?). You roll for the number of steps and give it to the character that you want to progress. Depending on the panel they land, they may move further ahead or make the other characters move instead. If you care for efficiency and the like, you can follow where the panels lead and see which character moving would be more worth it overall. You can also use the Event Item below (the hatchet), you will get guranteed 4 moves (and it doesn't decrease your Event mats).

If you want to quickly secure all the Dressblooms and Skillblooms for the Event girl, getting the first reward and going to the next map should be the priority. Treasure Rally is usually a pretty relaxing Event and you don't have to worry too much about efficiency. You can just burn through all the hatchets first if you want, better than having extras at the end, since you can't exchange them either.

So there's this new game on DMM called "Heroic Maidens". Seems to be phone-only as I missed any prior news about the game, including its prereg.
When I checked its screenshots, I felt that I've seen the girls somewhere.
Then I realized that it's actually a reworked version of the long dead Girls Hero. Really a surprise, at least for me.

Like its predecessor, this game is mostly a training simulation. You train the girls, raise them into superheroes and send them into battles, both PvE and PvP.
The training process is, thankfully, much more streamlined with features like batch training and auto course. Alhough the downside is heavily reduced interaction with your girls.
And there doesn't seem to be any character episodes either. (Except the obligatory H-scenes.)
The battles are more like your traditional turn based RPGs, although the PvP battles are still like Pokemon (1 out of the 2 opposing teams each fight one-on-one), carried over from the predecessor.
The game seems to put more focus on PvP content this time, what with leagues, ranking and stuff.

Now training games don't seem that popular (at least on DMM) but I hope it performs better than Girls Hero.

Wasn't able to play JewPrin before when I had a slow internet connection. Now I have a significantly better one, but the game is still slow. Not as painfully as before but still. The transitions between menu screens, the loading times, the asset downloads.

For comparison I tried Unitia and it runs much better and uses all of my bandwidth now, whereas JewPrin likes to sit on loading screens barely using my connection. Only the initial load is pretty fast now.

The Senran event seems a bit complicated, I think I fucked up by starting it before I rolled for the free characters, so I'm "raising" the event character with suboptimal helpers. The explanation is quite long and the wiki looks borderline abandoned. I'm not sure I understand what am I supposed to do, nor what I need in order to see additional h scenes. Do I need to raise the rarity of the event character in order to see all scenes once I actually get the card?
The Jewel side seems pretty straightforward and the wiki is much better, but there too I don't know what exactly I need to see all the scenes for the various characters. Do I need to limit break them with extra copies? How many?

No worries, this is just experience as an ex player.
Don't worry too much on developing Seraphinite, even as a freemium with a full party of SSRs and somehow also rolled the featured SSR, the best you can manage is a mediocre unboosted SR Seraphinite.
To see all scenes, you have to limit break them.
Once you have figured out how to navigate the labyrinth if menus, the game is ultimately very straightforward and lightweight, at worst even shallow, as all you need to do is to get girls with the best stats and multipliers, for a Defense and Attack team.
The kanji you talked about is a guild yes. One of the mission requirements is requiring you to roll the Country gacha once, guild gacha. In order to access it, you have to be a member of at least 5 days old.

Turns out collabs are far more generous in Jewel Princess, completing everything aloes you to get 2-3 copies of all the 3 girls, and they're very good, PvP tier worthy. You get one copy of Emerald in Senran Princess as a log-in reward on the third day.

In Jewel Princess you only need one copy of each character. The H-scenes are unlocked by giving them gifts and raising their affection to 100%

The first scene is unlocked simply by owning her, usually bukkake. The second scene requires 2 limit breaks, often anal. Final scene is often a nakadashi and requires full limit breaks.

Sailors actually loose a lot of stats on one of the 2AW paths. So off skill they are weaker then AW version and on skill just slightly stronger than the other 2AW path. If you build a team around Ibuki i think she can pull some really big numbers like 10k+ double hits across half the map. Or you just bring Hermit of balanced and solo the map. hmm

Yeah she works in a similar manner too. It's just that her range is somewhat limited but basically you deploy her and she periodically kills anything around her. Both 2AW paths are viable but personally I prefer Delver for the added range.

Aquamarie skill: 40 seconds of magic damage, 15% HP cut to enemies, 25s cooldown
Farne skill: 40 seconds of magic damage, one-time heal, 25s cooldown

Aquamarie SAW: 25 seconds of true damage, up to 30% HP cut, 30s cooldown
