Well I didn't say just see yukari and cute girl, I said I'm going to feast my eyes upon beautiful legendary sights each and every day, I'm going to meet, converse, battle and party with hundreds of unique and special cutie pies, I'll learn from mentors like Yukari, Okina and many more, from the annals of Akyuu's gensokyo chronicles to the books of suzunaan and the SDM's library, and I'll enjoy the pleasures of the former sights, girls, and learnings as well as the great drinks, the great foods, and the great drugs. And in the mean time I can find a way to become immortal. With all this and more, who wouldn't wish to go to gensokyo? Sure you might end up dead before you can make it to initial safety, but I say that would only happen if you were unworthy.

How would you get in? Patchouli doesn't like visitors. Only plausible method I can think of is writing a book (English should be acceptable because Remilia canonically knows English which means Patchouli probably does too), getting it printed at Suzunaan (expensive!) and bribing her with it.

It would be easier for the Human Village to be controlled without Youkai fucking it up at some point and starting an open war, replacing the shitty system they have now. It also helps me keep my head and by being the single leader I can instill fear into Humans to keep the system of Gensokoyo going and actually be able to root out bugs without Youkai doing shitty thing that might get them caught.

Not only thing it would help keep the Youkai factions in check as they no longer try to one up each other and start shit with one another.

I would change the system for Human benefit, but in honesty. Everyone is happy with the system in place. Using this system will allow me to grow successors who would help keep this system in power without worrying about Human villager wanting to be leader or Youkai factions trying to groom a successor. Besides if people want to live in this system, let them have it, but at least make it look clean.

Because this world is pozzed to shit and 3D girls are awful. Also the girls of Gensokyo can never play victim against some guy who doesn't know how to fly or use danmaku.

Outside world still has a ton of youkai and gods. Mamizou only came into Gensokyo in 2011 and not even because she had to. The Fantasy-Reality barrier is not absolute by any means.
