Alright, flaws noted. How about this, then: We'll have two factions. For the sake of simplicity, Pro-Human and Pro-Monster. At any time you can switch sides, but you get more variety and higher rarity/strength MG's if you switch from human to MG side at a higher level. Because what dragon girl wants some level 5 noob? Classes would be player preference on the human side, but would be tied to the MG you choose on the MG side. Salamander waifu? You get some fire skills and melee abilities. Stuff like that.
But, go from MG to human side and your scorned lover appears from time to time to try to drag you away. Sort of like a nemesis system where if she succeeds, you get level drained.
There'd have to be some serious balance work to make each faction choice up to player preference. Can't have anon and his shog waifu be too OP.

Alrighty, I found it and read it. So I can partially retract what I said about it not being a rarity. Only partially because of that "may" in there. Like a few other anons pointed out, it seems worded in such a non concrete way as to appeal to those that may want the whole whole father/daughter thing.
