Yukari invades the moon, causing thousands of youkai to die and spread impurity upon its surface.

Eirin closes Yukari's portal and prevents Yukari's escape, but Yukari gets out unharmed anyways somehow.

Eirin creates the hourai elixir (using boundary magic according to one of the music CDs) - her first mistake

Lunarians torture Kaguya for becoming hourai (kill her even though she respawns) and exile her, eventually leading Eirin to leave the moon and kill all who follow her. She may not know yet, but the world she goes to with Kaguya is the homeland of Yukari.

Yukari rigs the entire planet to dump all of its fantastical elements into that world of Gensokyo with the Fantasy-reality barrier, swamping Eirin and Kaguya with a bunch of youkai.

Eirin takes away the true moon, a source of power for those youkai (Imperishable night) and is promptly swarmed by them, including Yukari, making her calm the fuck down and put the moon back.

Using a series of extremely precise long-range manipulations, Yukari turns the people of Eirin's homeland against their own defenders and manipulates Eirin into writing to her own students to stop Yukari's plans - unbeknownst to Eirin, leading them down a road that makes Yukari's success possible.

This leads to Yukari showing Eirin that she is not the greatest in mental power, as Yukari was able to use her as a pawn in a plot. Eirin is now "deeply scarred" by this event, and Yukari has the fear of an immortal heavenly knowledge god adding to her power now.

Eirin used Reimu to solve a problem that didn't even involve Gensokyo (LoLK)

Yukari apparently planned the entire time to allow that to happen so Gensokyo could gain possession of the Lunar Capital orb, for unknown reasons.

Everything has vitality and Okina manipulates that easily. If she takes out your existence energy then you're gone forever, no coming back. Yukari can't nullify that ability because if she did then she would destroy Gensokyo in the process, which would basically harm her anyway. You lost, Yukarifag. Yukari is just an extra powerful youkai who maintains the barriers of Gensokyo.
