I bought a Real Edition DJ Dao some years ago and I had to replace the PCB after some false contact on the USB connectors became unbearable.
1 or 2 year ago, I bought a new main PCB from DJ Dao (see pic) which didn't make use of the base TT PCB. Hooked buttons and the TT pins the only way it seemed possible, buttons works but the encoder doesn't receive the signal from the TT sensor (can't see shit in the Windows controller menu). The sensor works correctly, as I can still make the TT work using the old PCB (and struggling to get contact on the USB).
Tried upgrading the PCB, and tried changing the PCB mode to no avail; the only obvious strange stuff I noticed is, while the pad correctly recognize the mode change, Windows always display the controller as "PS3 Controller" while it should display "2 axis 16 button joystick (https://www.gamo2.com/en/firmware/).).

1) Any idea if the Windows device recognition "label" is symptomatic or just a detail?
2) How can I test if the encoder is correctly working without using the TT?
3) I wanted to buy some new stuff on DJ Dao and use the shipping to get a second PCB, just to see. But the only PCB now available on the store is a C33 PCB, which even with a C33 Sensor I'm not sure I would be able to make them work with the RE. Is there any "easily" purchasable alternative?

Any place which has SDVX players, obviously. I wouldn't recommend a TC+ though, as someone who owns one.

As someone else who owns one, what's wrong with it when compared to a cab/SVSE? I live in a rural area so the TC+ is my only point of reference for SDVX.

Nothing massive, as you can still do perfectly fine with it, but the spacing is inaccurate, the lack of a magnetic bottom makes maintenance a bit annoying, and it's just much easier to get in contact with gamo2.

Good. Very good.

Something I've long envisioned for this release would be for all frames from previous styles to be updated and revived and displayed based on the song's original debut. To play 5.1.1. in an HD 1st Style layout. I wonder how much of a callback this will be.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it out by November, remember that cannonballers took longer to come out compared to sinobuz/copula/pendual due to hardware changes

>> No.19556045

>>19555658
And the only reason why it was delayed until December was because they needed to ship out new hardware for every cab alongside the game you fucking mong

Pros: unique and fun controls
qt chars
Cons: mobage shit like gachas and character leveling
GP system instead of credit - if someone buys the highest one (360GP) he's able to play 9 songs max in one sitting which would cause long waiting time
