Ayaki has a problem with the upper body. Shoulder widths are too narrow even for women. Torsos are not broad enough as a result, and some are not long enough as well. Arms are too small and thin. Some of the early CGs are forgiven for this because most early CGs were terrible and he made toothpick legs to go with the arms. Ayaki tries to hide the shoulder problem by posing the girls angled away, but the issue becomes impossible to ignore once noticed. Only a few manage to not follow this trend.

It isn't until later when Ayaki really improves his work when it comes to legs, but he goes all out with this and starts making them too large compared to the rest of the body: standing leg length should be about 50% or slightly less of total height, and Ayaki's legs are clearly more. Paired with the small arms from before, this can lead to T-rex-esque proportions on some of the most egregious offenders.

Murakumo Valentines is the only CG without glaring issues, due to the heavily angled posture and the scarf obscuring the upper torso. Tatsuta Summer, Tenryuu Summer, and possibly Hatsuharu K2 have normal-ish shoulder widths. Every non-base CG has legs that are too long (even Murakumo Valentines, but again her angling towards the viewer makes it reasonable).

And then there are girl-specific issues like Nenohi New Year's Chaika face or Tenryuu K2's breasts sitting too low (an issue that really started with Tenryuu/Tatsuta Summer but those were attached to proper torsos and sagged enough to be believable).

Overall, his girl and uniform designs are good, with details that make them unique without oversaturation (a la Murasame K2 or Musashi), but his proportions really need work.

Tenryuu had a really shitty art with awful anatomy which damages her design pretty hard, so making her fight in an unimaginative way prevents her from redeeming herself like say RJ which didn't looked great but at least showed that the artist had some cool and unique ideas in store unlike Tenryuu. If you look at a random pic of her design maybe, but illustrations like the game's sprite (this has been the standard for years in terms of designs in stylized japanese video games) are meant to convey the type of person the character is through their main artwork. Tenryuu's first design fails at this.
