Once apon a time in one of these threads someone mentioned Inugami Circus Dan and I downloaded a bunch of their albums. Getting past the face painting, they are really good. Some of their songs are rather boring but they can play their instruments and their singer is great.

most recent j-rock discovery of mine is a band called Bluebeard and their self-titled release, which is on /rs/. very nice 90's-style rock music.

concerning Boris, i like a few of their releases but through them i discovered Boredoms which has some bangin weird stuff early in their career, with more coherent cool releases in recent times.
