what annoys me is the fact that the message is twisted and I'd feel comfortable saying even glorified by the tumblr audience. His mixing is pretty messy sometimes but that's just due to all the intentional distortion, compression, extra high end eq boost. It's a stylistic approach. He wants the sounds to pop out of each other. This in your face production. Very French. His mixes at least for me are some of my favorites. Everything is always so tight, punchy, clean enough, check out capsule - eternity, sounds so good. And his drums are always so fat, tight, and punchy. As well as his bass (low end). Saying he's not contributed anything to perfume is overdoing it. For a guy who writes, composes, produces, mixes , and masters his own songs he's really good. You don't see that much nowadays. Especially in the pop world. His music has gone downhill nowadays though, I agree. His production is still the same so I can't complain about that. His zedd stay remix has som fun interesting chords before the chorus, but the chorus isn't really my thing. It's a little to festival, and works for what it is but I wish he went a different direction with it
