Is there any difference between the tracks in Akyuu’s Untouched Score and in the games? I can’t find consensus anywhere over whether there was remastering or not.

Akyuu pics and any other Untiuched Score facts welcome.

Assuming you're a pleb who's only heard the in-game music through an emulator yes it'll sound different. If you have a real PC-98 with an OPNA chip there's no difference other than some extra CD-exclusive tracks. As for remastering either there was some noise removal done or ZUN managed to get some clean as fuck recordings out of his PC-98.

Yes, there are significant differences. Akyuu's untouched score is actually retouched FM from Mystic Square's Music Room (which had all the PC-98 tracks). It's quite different from what you would hear in-game. There's also many different versions of the in-game tracks you would hear depending on your PC-98's sound chip or emulator's emulated sound chip. You could rip it raw from the games but I'm not sure how you would convert it.
