Well, I don't think anyone is arguing the arena is fun lol. AI in that game is really bad, it's like single target attackers prioritize enemies with barriers regardless if front or backline. The number of pearls in arena is maddening. Best thing to do in arena is build a stall team and afk after starting arena battle, level up those tanks like iolite to 40 and a healer or 2. Since you have emerald you can build the perfect stall team with normal gacha units.

I think it's weird how Thor and Odin were released in year 1 of Kamihime but we're still waiting on Loki.
And speaking of which, we have Jormungandr and Fenrir but missing out on Hel.

Managed to deal 75k by praying to RNG, almost having my Peridot get debuffed & cleansing with Amber when it did happen. Garnet was just a 60% attack buff and Turquoise the early waves clearer. Ruby friend for debuffs, obviously.

Use Amber. Ruby's burn isn't an issue so even if we get a burn immunity princess in the future she won't be good in Ruby, just Amethyst. I still managed 100k per run despite the debuffs thanks to my own Ruby and Opal.

I think I might take your advice anyway. PvE is slow as fuck and either annoying or easy depending on how many spectra you have, competitive rewards in PvE like spectra battles/raids are clearly made to get you to jew out, rate-ups are a literal lie for Inca Rose, and arena is a complete fuckfest. I keep wanting to like the game but it's been over a month since the beta began now and nothing's been fixed or balanced, so I doubt things like a Sapphire nerf will happen anytime soon

I think their strategy with bloom art is different since the point is to add meat to their updates, which doesn't really work if they catch up. They probably also prioritise funding for new art based on which of the girls are more popular, which is more efficient then making art for girls that no-one cares about.

It isn't good advice, since regular skill cooldowns don't apply to spectra battle bosses. That's what my personal research showed and also what's written on the JP wiki. The bosses use their skills at set intervals, the only deviation you get is based on turn / skill order.

It's true that you should start the third wave with Sapphire's AOE skill, but the reason for this is to deal with the adds before they can use their def boost or debuff your party. After that, you don't use her skill anymore unless all your stronger attacks are on cooldown (which is quite unlikely).

Ruby's debuff only hits 3 people, so it's kinda a matter of luck. What worked for me was bringing a strong helper Peridot and Amber. I saved her cleanse for when Peridot got debuffed, kept spamming Peridot's skill and got lucky that Ruby mostly hit my other team members with her debuff.

And on a different note, it seems like they added a new event quest line that rewards all sorts of upgrade mats (regular and rainbow).
Unless I'm mistaken, the gimmick seems to be that you're fighting one enemy which has to be one-shot, otherwise its HP will return to full. Couldn't really test it though since the first stage that's available now had a lvl 1 mob which fell over on its own.

Is there any way to predict what new Kamihime we get next on Nutaku, for example via the DMM releases or something like that? I got 6000 jewels saved up and really like Aten (looks) and Atum (looks&abilities). But it would really hurt if I burned all my jewels now only to find out the next batch of new Kamihime are even better. There is also a severe lack of muscular girls. We have over 100 Kamihime and a good amount of Eidolon, and not a single one of them has abs.

I don't think there's any particular rhyme or reason to how they choose people. Take Ivy, for example. They gave New Year Ivy art for New Year this year, but original Ivy still doesn't have any. You can look at some of the first few characters that got bloom/art and it was based around a newer event unit and some other seemingly random choices. And they still don't have art for some of the top rankers from the last two years, like Wolfsbane, who came in 4th last year in the poll and won it this year.

Nope. Your personal research is wrong. Sapphire's AoE should be spammed off cooldown on all Spectra battles because time where the boss isn't casting a skill is time that you can spend casting your own skills, and this is especially true for the Ruby fight because of how her AoE works. There's a reason the JP wiki recommends Sapphire and not Diamond. If you want a high score Sapphire is 100% mandatory, and not just for the first-turn freeze.

Second, all damage sources from debuffs do true damage and ignore all defense, which means that if your Sapphire is capable of inflicting a certain amount of damage with a freeze, you can ignore any setup and just kill them long as their HP is below that threshold. Whether this is better or worse than using more traditional nukers is dependent on how high the enemy's Defense is going to scale in later missions (which we don't know yet) and whether you have Ruby or not, but it's inarguable that using Sapphire removes a decent amount of variables from the equation. Even if that fails she's still just behind the best nukers in the game and more than enough to blow past the quest with contemptuous ease.

But no, Sapphire being P2W cancer of the highest order is both a completely legitimate thing to be angry about and kind of a huge fucking deal in a game with competitive PvE rewards for raids/spectra battles, competitive PvP, and a whole set of six other P2W cancer units who are only a fraction as cancerous or gamebreaking as her. The last few majins, I didn't even field Estelle (she really needs aw2!) and I only fielded Sylseth to kill a single pesky hermit. That being said, yeah Tenma is good (pity blacked her during her pickup and got Dina instead). Remy has a bad rep here but I'm looking out for her too. This really depends on how you want to use her. She's more or less Aigis' take on the targeted artillery of other TD games, so if you like interacting actively with the map and want to focus on that capacity of hers, her regular skill will give you flexible burst damage in exchange for UP (which you usually will have in spades).

If you like low-interaction/AFK setups more, however, her SAW turns her into a slightly more conventional waveclear unit, though you're still very much encouraged to retreat her during skill downtimes so that you can bypass her atrocious CDs. She's also annoying to use in subjugations, which kind of run counter to her entire concept (attention-intensive UP-for-damage unit in UP-limited AFK maps).

So the reason why she's "ugly" is simply the artstyle. It's an artstyle for kids. Kids shows have this because it makes it easy for kids to draw them & has an appeal for them. In the scope of that, yeah, she's "pretty". But that's not our thing.

We're playing porn games. Porn games aren't directed at kids. Low effort artstyles have nothing to do here. The artist is capable of much better, I'm not bashing him/her, but his/her choice of style.

As for FKG, uh, I guess it has a broader appeal and a loli focus, for which such an artstyle that reminds of kid shows can cater towards, I guess.
