It just exemplifies everything I love about Vocaloid - it's upbeat, cute, amazingly tuned, utilizes the electronic voices to their full extent (that part after second chorus though, too good), the lyrics are about Vocaloid itself, and it uses my favorite Vocaloids.

I might have agreed with you if you said the original Electric Angel. That one is simple but layered, has an almost "ancient japanese" sound interwoven with a modern, electroinic melody, uses Miku to sing with an electronic voice that's still emotional and not as clipped as the remix, and the song manages to sound somewhere between sentimental and danceable.

The remix just goes too far in a number of different directions. Miku's tuning sounds off and almost clipped, the melody is way too video-gamey, and overall it lacks the subtlety of the original.

I'm ok with the original it just sounds way too bland to me, and those old vocals really show their age there. It's a song I'd have listened to once or twice and forgot about it, not all that interesting even compared to other early songs. The remix breathes a new life into it for me, the added instrumentation, beat and vocals make all the difference.

I kinda know the feeling, although it is not nearly as bad where I live. Using public post offices, it is usually one week from Japan to the capital of my country, then 1-3 weeks from there to my city (not a random village in the middle of nowhere, but the 3rd city of the Country). Embarrasing, but not that bad.

On the other hand, when they say they are going to deliver a package on a given day, they do it diligently and in a predictable time slot.

My experience with private companies is exactly the opposite: very fast travel of your packege, but the day of delivery is chaotic: either you wait all day, because you can't predict when it is going to arrive, or it does not arrive because they have too much packages to deliver and then they lie to you saying you weren't home to pick it up.

Our post office does both the slow as fuck ship time and random delivery without any warning. I got a Len nendo (the Monochrome Baku one) on preorder, and they almost had it shipped back to Japan due to being "unable to deliver". If you guys haven't checked it out yet, there is a thing on Steam called Wallpaper Engine that lets you have animated wallpaper. It's super cool and there are a ton of Vocaloid ones.

The Senbonzakura one I have here has little sakura petals falling and it plays the song if you want in the background when you're not using a window.

Just thought it was fun.
