It's still possible to do well with a decent-ish team but the opportunities are closing really fast as more people without Sapphire or Diamond fall off the bandwagon and give up. Only issues with JewPri for me is the gacha rates for spectra are shit, and arena can be full of rng bullshit. But both of those problems are lessened by the fact that gems are easy to come by, and you can refresh the game to essentially never lose arena if bullshit does end up happening. It's an enjoyable and well made game. And as others have said its very generous to free players.

Arena is rage inducing, especially if you know your team can win but gets fucked by rng. Anyway you need to swap your healer to Amber otherwise status bullshit becomes unbearable very fast. Also make sure to put hp defense items on amber and get her affection maxed so that she doesn't get blown up right away. Or cheese with morganite and fish for teams that rely on sapphire for much easier wins. Also refresh the page as soon as you see a team you have no chance of beating, it saves time if you haven't been doing this already. It's impossible not to rank up over time if you do this, at least, until you reach a peak where you can't win vs anybody. But by then you should be at a decent rank I think.

So, I got a Cetus lv30 (which has made me popular enough, with about 20 helps a day). But I just got a Prison of Ice Disaster, and I'm gonna get Melusine once I finish the fourth world (just two parts of its fifth stage to go).

Should I just keep the Cetus as eilodon leader? I'm still planning on having Prison of Ice Disaster and Melusine in my water eilodon team (as well as a lv12 Laelaps I was using before I got Cetus) for fire raids, but am I right in doing so?

Also, now that I think about it, I have another question: what does the +1 on some eilodon and kamihime means? My Cetus has it, as well as, for example, my Nike.

Such a shame. I had been following it since its prereg, the game was so fun.
It had its flaws sure, mainly the stringy rates and meager jewel handouts. But the gameplay was top-notch, the game itself wasn't very demanding, the girls (and ladies) were cute and their scenes were great.
It always ranked the lowest since the very beginning but I was expecting it to stay for a long time, just like those unnoticed games that have been in the DMM catalog since who knows when. Even more so considering it's essentially a rehashed Water Girl with added characters and H-scenes. Still, 1 year and 4 months is a pretty good run when there was a time when I feared it won't last for even 3 months.

I'd been feeling all gloomy since the news broke. But looking back, now I'm glad that I enjoyed it and stayed with it until the end. Hopefully the game will reincarnate once more under a different name or at a different place, or at the very least, the artist gets to work in more games. All I can do now is to catch up and finish the story stages in a month or so I've got (and probably lurk 5ch threads for the game's funeral).

Before it finally hit me the art and the girls would never make up for the p2w bullshit and brave frontier gameplay at least.

Towa isn't useful early on but once you build a stronger team she really shines. If you haven't used your tickets yet, you should probably pick Rinne/Elyse as you lack strong healers.
