Nah, not a lot of free stuff other than the typical extra log-in junk, daily greetings for tickets, some code from Twitter for a ticket, and maybe some gems to scrape up from first time clears on the event missions.

I came back about 4 weeks ago and ended up with enough gems for 3 10 rolls or so. With the renewal, you can get an extra 3 gems every 3(?) days from the shop by doing the new daily missions where you fight the new girls from that other game, then trading those medals. You can also trade for their junk Rs eventually, just to unlock the characters if you're not lucky enough to roll the SSRs, then proceed to throw gifts at them for extra spare gems.

But not the lil girl. I was unfortunate enough to roll the loli from the gacha, and now I guess I have to go through with this.

Fun fact on Jewel Priness Arena - If you manage to time out the full 10 minutes duration, you'll still win as long your team member total is equal to or exceed the number of enemy team members.

I find that using amps up to level 50-55 for each of the three evolution tiers works well. A more precise method would be to use amps in batches of 100. Since it takes 300 to max amp a girl you can use exactly 100 per evolution tier for optimal efficiency.

This isn't really going to work because a lot of "common" gemstone names are based on aesthetic/surficial differences, which can easily result in multiple gemstones sharing the same common names. Gemstones don't follow the same rules as flowers and if you do this you're going to be sacrificing precision down the line.

Example being fools' gold, which more commonly refers to pyrite but can also just as easily refer to chalcopyrite (or a few other substances) instead. Name the first of them that comes up Fools' Gold, get waylaid by the second and third and etc.

We don't have Burn immunity characters yet so Amber is the next best thing. My strategy is to cleanse the Burn every other time she uses it.

Diamond is hit and miss for now. In the fights where she actually stays alive her kill heal is really precious.

So the art for Welwitschia is released, and it's superb as usual: Drill hair was actually predicted for her, as the plant's leaves tend to twine around each other, and these ribbons are a nice touch as well (also a surprisingly cute face for a shady witch, sort of reminds me of Towa). The next event title sounds pretty interesting too, is it time for a surprise Pygmy Waterlily?

And oh jeez, I go on a trip for three days and I come back to find that Nutaku renamed Pingpong Mum to just "Mum" (which is asking for awkwardness when we get another chrysanthemum-based knight, as with Katabami/Oxalis, Yomogi/Artemisia and Kuroyuri/Tillary-chan), released her without glasses and for $85, and didn't even edit her stats to be more respectable, so anyone who buys her is paying more than a rainbow ticket for an event unit (while she comes with a prequel volume and still costs a fraction of that on DMM).

Just place your best ranged dps on the left side and cover the rear with some tanks. I used a combo of Minerva, Lapis, Ramii and Prince on the left and Lai-Mai, Ignis and a rearguard on the right. I know I've bored you guys to death with this, but I'll say again that I am playing this game because the character design is easily the best on DMM, and probably on the entire mobage/browser game market as well. FKG has no gameplay, so you'll have to like the girls to play it anyway.

As for rainbows, I've had 16 (not counting Alstroemeria/rarity growth) on FKG in 3 years, and 15 blacks on Aigis in 2 years. The demoness doesn't like me much.

Been playing Kamihime for a few days. Got a question though, and google hasn't delivered: I understand that you need to mix eidolons with other copies of the same one to limit break them. But what about SSRs, and crucially, eilodons you got from the story, particularly Diabolos? Do you need to get more copies of the same SSRs (4 times to max them, fucking hell) through gacha? That's crazy, but I guess possible for whales, but then what about Diabolos? You can get copies of her through gacha or something?

Maybe you're right, I've been trying to get in with a 1year old account and after 200SC I've gotten 2blacks being one from the milestone, 4 legend tickets with 1 black dupe and 1 platinum, being 3 blacks gotten from gacha, and most people from here playing since the anniversary it seems has more luck at pulling something above gold for some reason.

Diabolos SR is forever level 30 at most. She's an exception and serves as a beginner crutch, hence her decent bonus of HP and attack to everything. And yeah, you need 4 extra copies to max out an eidolon

Now that we're on the topic, I wonder if they're going to take steps to make FKG more new player friendly or enticing to try out when they make their big debut on the mobile stores.

The art and character designs are amazing and I'll agree with the above anon that the game has some of the best, if not the best, art in the DMM store but the early game and its mechanics aren't exactly welcoming or friendly so I'm curious to see if they'll attempt to tackle a complicated and delicate issue such as this or leave it be and hope for the best.

Must've missed mine. Blew through the 10 free daily rolls, then went straight to the black guarantee when I first started. Which gave me an Eldora when I rolled on a pickup with two blacks I wanted.

A lot of complaints about not being able to easily get nice things in FKG but plenty of posts showing the monthly Black harvest.

You made me curious about rerolling in Kamihime and god, there's exactly 1 and only 1 thing the nutaku version was over the DMM version and it's the tutorial skip.
It saves at least 5 minutes per reroll, maybe more if you have a toaster.
But anyways, I have 2 weapon tickets and 4000 jewels after the tutorial, the STILL ONGOING (why though) 2nd anniversary login bonus has that free SR of choice plus 3k more jewels later on and provided one of the tickets, the beginner login bonus gives out 1000 more on day 1, and 2000 more by day 12, and the soon to end GW campaign with 2 weapon tickets and 1200 jewels.
That's a lot more than I thought I'd get. But I guess that's because of the current campaigns. Once GW and the 2nd anniversary promo ends (does it actually end though?) it should just be 4000 plain old jewels + 2000 more after a while.

And being an alt of course the 10 roll gets me an SSR, thankfully it's just Odin so nothing to get mad over.

I'm actually okay with this because Kirinsou's artist is amazing and should be appreciated more, Fujishima Sei 1-gou's girls rival Wazakita when it comes to delicious thighs. Aconite is a code-only girl. They all have gimped stats and abilities which make them worse then event golds and much worse then gacha golds. Unless you still have silvers in your set you are taking a power hit by using one in a squad.

Rarity growth brings her up to par with gacha rainbows but was not implemented at the time of that poll.

By the way, new players in FKG right now don't get the really nice 100 keys or evo materials they gave out a while ago which makes the idea of rerolling absolutely painful and agonizing. I cant even evolve or level any of my girls and it hurts.

I think the single worst thing about FKG is how leveling up works. You have to get pretty fucking rare stuff just to level up, and your characters can have three sets of levels to get. That's really ass.

Well, consider the fact that DMM players had new versions and special garden items/accessories announced for top rankers, including separate brackets for lower-rarity characters and event girls, so they voted accordingly. Nutaku players, in contrast, will get nothing from the rankings (except a "special gacha" that features the winners, so their reward is the privilege to pay Nutaku more money), so they aren't voting for lower-rarity girls.

If Nutaku was getting new versions as well, their rankings would look much different.

I know all of this (I have her), but it's a bit much to say she's so bad that you would only use her if you're also at the point of still using silvers. For comparison's sake, at level 80 with full first affection and no ampies, our previous event unit Easter Lily has 12580/4850/2620 stats, and Wolfsbane's stats are 12930/5080/2430. I won't waste my time trying to find the closest possible event unit match stat for stat, but promo units are perfectly usable by comparison.

She's perfectly usable in battle so long as you're still at the point of using event golds. If you have a full gacha team, then yeah, at that point and ONLY at that point is she no longer worth using.

Events and medal/crystal exchanges make sure you'll always have access to some supply of any particular growth fodder available.
Granted, it's not all that intuitive where you're best served in obtaining certain fodder from at first.

I wish both Granblue and Kamihime just let you level up more than 1 skill level at a time
it's just so fucking tedious to set up your (also skill leveled) fodder one by one every level
it's already established weapons give a certain amount of skill exp, why not just let it overflow and go from like 5 to 8 if you pump enough shit?

You aren't supposed to be touching the whaleship until 3-4 months in or so. If you just want blooming materials, the elixirs are easy to get from their respective missions and you can get quite a few of the birds from main quests by completing the special challenge maps in the second-to-last tab of the missions panel.

I've only been playing for 6 months but still have a total of 51 max-level bloomed flower knights at this point, and quite a few more waiting to be bloomed. Once you clear the first few months leveling and evolution starts to go a lot faster as you can more readily run the 80-stamina bonus maps and clear out events.

It's skills and equipment slots (and ampules to a lesser extent) which are the bigger pain in the ass to level up, since they require either dupes or time-limited resources that accumulate agonizingly slowly.

I never really had any problems with clearing event maps or doing dailies/stories starting out. The game hands you gacha golds by the dozen and I rerolled for a rainbow so it wasnt really hard to put together a team.

I immediately evolved my first rainbow and since I was lucky to start during some campaign, I had the mats on hand to evolve her once. I was missing some mats to awaken her and they were in a shop so I bought them and awakened then took her to around level 50 because getting enough fairies to level or gold to do so is completely ass. For the rest of the stuff, I ran maps with level 1 golds and a bloomed rainbow for quite a while carrying myself with supports until I could evolve my other golds once and my clearing power got better and I didnt really need to rely on supports anymore because my team A was on par or better than the supports that show on my list most of the time.

My biggest gripes with the game as someone starting out is very obviously, the gacha. But everyone has heard a million times how the rates in this game are so awfully bad that it could even make babies cry by just showing them a picture of the rates so my other problems with the game are the story and how actually saving up stones feels hard if we're talking about stones you get yourself and not stones that automagically appear on your present box because of this or that.

The story is actually ass to go through early on because there's so many damn spinny things that it makes your head spin and makes you feel like you're fighting the compass fairies in Kancolle for that stone that you really want to roll the gacha. I read that the way they want new players to play it is to blaze through the story and forget about full clearing stuff so they can get rewarded by special quests that give you stuff depending on how far you are in the story but it still feels pretty bad and leaves a terrible taste in your mouth to not be able to fully complete maps that should be baby maps and should have rewarded you with your deserved stone for playing them.

The other problem is actually getting stones from the game itself and not the admins generosity. You get like 10~ stones a week from events assuming you can clear all the difficulties and the other stages are their own headaches to clear since some require 4 teams that can kill things to get your desired stones or the sidestories that can be pretty dickish at times and kind of hard. And after you finally manage to scrounge up 50 stones from actually earning them by doing this and that in the game, you take them to the gacha and feel your soul leave your body when you see 8 bronzes and 2 silvers show up on screen.

So far, that's my experience with the game as someone who started pretty recently and is honestly less than happy with the game but continues playing it because the girls are great, the people that play it are pretty nice and I'm still holding out hope that maybe something nice will happen and I'll get someone I want instead of nazuna kicking me in the balls for expecting something in case anyone cares about reading someone's uncalled for wall of text about their experiences playing the game.

Also by the way, I did consider rerolling and did a few rerolls. I have two rerolls with two different rainbows I like on each account and I tried to play on them but I felt demotivated to do so because I had the same problem as above but magnified because these accounts didnt start during lucky campaigns and dont have the required materials to evolve something, much less to bloom it. I also dont have free medals that I could use to buy these from the shop for the same reason which makes starting out much tougher, annoying and frustrating so I went back to my actual account to try to farm up another 50 stones and you can guess the result.
