Hirokana and katanakana are actually useless. Even more useless than romanji. They're basically the baby version of the language, and it's equivalent to learning how to read, write and speak from Tommy Pickles. Cut straight to kanji, with the fastest way of learning the basic 3000 that you need to read a simple children's book being to print them all out and copy them by hand (pro tip: tracing them saves some time). Once you've done that, you're probably ready to practice speaking, so just go outside and use all the kanji you learned over the last 2 years (as per the above) by narrating your life as best you can out loud. Film it and review it daily to monitor your sick moon gainz. Lastly, move to Japan and teach English. Good luck, cunt.

Spaced repetition algorithms are a tradeoff between retention rate and the frequency/amount of reviews. The Anki dev decided that 90% retention is a reasonable amount (see: the Anki manual).
If your retention is a lot higher than that, you're wasting time by not using Anki properly: Either you're reviewing stuff you already know well enough / encounter often enough that you don't need Anki to remember it, or you're not using the easy/hard buttons correctly.
Either way, you could probably reduce the time you spend on Anki without impacting your learning progress.

More specifically: According to the formula in the Anki manual, you need 5 times a many reviews to go from 90% retention to a guaranteed 98%.
Or, if you're at 98% right now, you could reduce your rewiews by 80% while still maintaining a retention rate of 90%.
That's how much time you're wasting in Anki that you could spend on enjoying japanese content instead.

To guarantee 100%, you would need to set the interval modifier to 0. Assuming this doesn't cause divide by 0 errors somewhere, this would result in infinite reviews. This would cause infinite reviews (all cards are due immediately after they're reviewed), or, if Anki has a minimum interval of 1 somewhere it would mean that you would need to review your whole collection once per day.

You need to analyze your own motivations. Are you learning Japanese to watch anime and read manga? Can you not read or watch translated media instead? Are you going to experience a huge payoff for learning a new language to do something you can already do?

For me, I want to learn it so I can move to Japan and work in the chemical industry. Knowing two languages is a huge boost to employability, especially in the scientific field where there is a lot of international commerce and development. The payoff will be tangible.

I don't know why people always have to rank activities according to how useful they're going to be in the future. Why do people learn Spanish if they're never going to live in Spain? There's a middle school student at my school (I'm an ALT in Japan) that laughs uncontrollably when I say anything in Japanese. Especially if I use keigo. Is there a more polite way to say "こちらのお席座に座ってもよろしいでございますか?" If I add an お in front of 座って, I think it will sound less polite, is this correct? My reasoning is that I'm not doing them a favour (compared with something like お手伝いします.) Can you even add お in front of something that's conjugated? お手伝って~...?

I used both his RTK and Core2k decks. I liked his RTK deck because I can see others' mnemonics, and that makes me feel like I'm studying with someone else.

What I found most useful is his "daily lessons emails". I got it for a month or so, usually it introduces one grammar concept, then gives you a Japanese sentence. It breaks down the japanese sentence into its grammatical parts, transltes into English and showd you the 'literal' translation as well. See pic related for an example. He also talked about how common that grammatical concept is, but I believe mostly in conversational context.

The second question is about some furigana. When I saw 面白 the furigana said おもしれ when according to google (I know) おもしろ is what its supposed to be and thats the only way my IME lets me type it in. Is that a mistake on the editors part or is there some secret Im not in on?
