Check the black market for gear that gives resists (esp magic). Invest 50 twice in magic shops so they sell potions of potential, bless those, drink them. Hoard change material scrolls, bless them, read to improve non-unique non-godly gear material. Buy craft repair kits at the general vendor and use to maximize dice on non-unique gear (e.g. first get composite mail to adamantium and then craft repair). Enchant all of your gear at the blacksmith. Train stats while quaffing potential when most get to ''great'' or under.

How do I get so much gold? I'm at about 50-60 total magic shop levels, but everything you suggest costs ridiculous amounts of gold (Especially black market gear). My magic resistance is terrible. I can head to Noyel and get some craft repair kits, but even if I use my materials to make junk en masse, that's an insane amount of money required. I had a 70-rank~ish museum, and I get about 12,000 every paycheck, but otherwise most of my cash is just slowly accrued. A blessed potion of potential is around 70,000 gold, which is ridiculous.

But those are all good tips, thank you, I'll note them down. I just don't have a good income source. I guess I'll look up on the wiki how to make gold, and then look back at these ideas.

Set a fast breeding pet in a ranch, eg rabbit or such
Sell loot you find in a shop, preferably keep a storehouse next to the shop to pile in stuff that's non-specialized, eg keep everything but equipment inside storage when shop is equipment selling specialized. Farm > Shop food selling is big mid to late game, since you need a high shop selling rate to ensure your food doesn't rot all the time.
Do cargo runs and escort missions, preferably cargo only if you're fame is generating rogue bosses stronger than you. Check pastebins for cargo guides.

A really easy way of making money as well as training two skills at once is to simply put a water tile in your food shop and then start fishing.
After you fished, rest, then cook and drop the food. Rinse and repeat until you get bored of it.

Yeah, their meat is the go-to way to raise Charisma.
Though I think either Sheep or Cows were the best meat price-breeding power creature, even more so if you delevel them.
Or those Indigo Lobsters, but they're levle 64 I think, lots of deleveling needed to get any use out of them.

Do you have oracle scolls?
Simply go to partytimes and read the scroll. There's a good chance that dagger will spawn on an NPC and you can wrestle it off them.

It tells you when an artifact is generated recently.
It's really useful in Party time or harvest time quests, both of which bring you to a separate map and populate those map with freshly generated entities. These entities (some of which are known NPC) have great chance of spawning with special artifacts. Ether dagger is one of those artifacts. But you'll have to fight for it though.

Rocks work because every melee AIs are hardcoded to throw stuff at things that are thorny or unreachable IIRC.

The scroll doesn't spawn stuff. It just tell you when a special artifact has been spawned recently. Every mob spawned (besides summoned mobs from summon X which will never drop anything) has a chance of spawning with a special artifact that's tied to their race/unique NPC.

For example:
Hermit crabs may drop a precious amulet called <unknown shell> when killed.

But the amulet will only drop if the the crab is spawned with it, the amulet is not a random drop.

You can kill hermit crabs all you want but if the game doesn't spawn a hermit crab with said amulet, you won't get anything but corpses.

The process is like this:

>You go to the "pick up 20 pounds of grapes" place, which means you go into a new map.

>New monsters are spawned for this new map.

>You read the scroll of oracle.

>The scroll says "a beautiful shell was created at farm in <the current game date>".

That means somewhere in that area, a hermit crab will drop the amulet if you kill it because it spawned with the amulet in its inventory.

If no artifact spawned, it'll just say there's no artifact spawned. You still have to go and find the artifact yourself though. In this image, two special artifacts had just been added to two NPC in the map. I'll just have to find these NPC and brutally murder them for these artifacts.

Oracle scrolls are generally better used for trading with adventurers. Artifacts tend to spawn on specific named NPCS, or classes of generic NPCS such as bards or beggars. Meaning that if you know who tends to have what you're looking for, you'll get it eventually if you keep on killing them.

Do a lot of small quests, such as someone wants to gift a dead fish, just take the quest and step outside the city to look for it spawning, or take easy jobs like cooking something you can buy in the bakers shop or easy hunting jobs.

What differentiates NPCs are their AI, limbs, special abilities, and bitflags. You can change the first two relatively easily, but you're limited with special abilities, and bitflags can't be changed at all. Stats/skills don't matter much besides for INI, as you can train and adjust any NPC to your liking.

Goda's only got fury so he's nothing special, but players that like him have built him into a murder machine. Basically if you don't need special traits, pick whatever NPC you like (the cutest) as all ''normal'' NPCs are practically the same. But if you're interested in something extra, check the wiki for interesting abilities/bitflags/evolutions

Well you're not wrong, he is unique (joins only once per game and if put on ranch, produces shades). Among the join-on-defeat NPCs Wing Snail, Goda, and Pascal have high breed power. What this means is because shades mimic a random creature you can get a variety of creatures (and thus skills+limbs) for gene engineering by using them as breeder, and in the case of Pascal, a steady supply of ≤Lv65 monsters to pump up your pets' levels.

Never shotguns. Their ranged penalty makes them effectively a melee weapon. Sniper, Laser or machine gun. Sniper has bad hit penalty so only usable at high skills/stats, laser got no ranged penalty, which is pretty useful. It's called Elona, apparently. 伊洛纳 is chinkrunes for Elona (Illona). Probably just in-name and has a lot of of the story elements borrowed and adapted from Elona.

Personally, I don't play mobile games anymore and this one features the usual exclusive currency and energy as many others. It probably has gacha system in there somewhere that rolls either rare mats/weapons/armours/pets.
Gameplay-wise, it looks like it will be more flash and less function. So it won't have much of the original sandbox element. After all, there's only so much you can fit in a mobile game UI without making it a complicated mess.

The company making it took their time to contact Noa and talk about their game. They also produce their own sprites and shit. So at least they have effort behind their work and they are not just in it to fish the whales.

I won't touch it with a ten-foot pole, but if someone finds joy in playing it, it's their hustle. Maybe from that game, they'd then find themselves the interest to play Elona+ or omake. Also, trailer lacks little girl and that's not okay.

Other options I can think of are:
Hand mobs who can only draw shadow/shadow step and then jerk you off super duper quick.
I believe browbeat also pulls but only for a short distance and you need to be close.
Dimension fishing essentially pauses the game for a three second animation every fuckin' time.

In comparison, Multiple gather instantly pulls mob in from everywhere on the map and you can start partyin'. Means less time walking to mobs just to beat them up for their lunch money.

Aside from choosing your alias, furnishing your own home and home related things is the hardest part of the game. I can put monsters away but home deco gives me pause. I certainly could but I'd feel too tethered to my farms. Constantly eating herbs and then going back to plant and harvest which, at least for me, felt like it takes a considerable amount of time. I'd be getting attribute gains but I'd only be growing my character along one dimension of power. I'd be neglecting my skills and other sources of power that I wanted to grow too. So instead what I like to do is just do a shit ton of farm work for like an hour or two and then just take a long break from it and do whatever else I feel like doing. Have you tried to use a Harakiri? You need to get lots of bleeding levels to deal a good amount of damage, and Harakiri will give you lots of bleeding in one turn plus a few hostility-free turns to prepare yourself.
Spamming bloodstream will also give you bleeding levels but you will run out of stamina before you get a good damage multiplier. You could also get lots of black tea for SP recovery, or become a loyal follower of Kumiromi for the SP regen effect.

On my other save i have a cat.
I trained her in pet arena and teached a few buffs with custom AI(had to level those buffs to lv50 first)
She was able to win ~150 pet arena matches in a row with shit equipment. She provides so many mats after kills that i can maintain my shop stocked solely with crafting and treasure balls drops. She crafts very expensive gear and gives good potential boost with breakfasts.

No that's what I did mean, it's really important to reinforce your gear at the smith, it gives a tremendous boost to your defenses for the amount it costs. But also important are improving material (usually to dragonscale/adamantium) and using a craft repair kit to finish it off by maximizing the dice. Note that if you change material again afterwards the dice are randomized again and the kit was essentially wasted. Much later you can take gear and use artifact fusion to add resists and other things at your leisure but for most players that's a long long way off.

I'm giving up on capturing one of these Bells. Throwing poison on it kills it in 3 turns without lowering it to a level I can capture, knockout skill does about 80% damage with a seemingly 1% hit chance, so I can't capture it, and they just immediately vanish. I'm a failure.

Which bell?
Golden and platina are easy to be dominated. They don't resist it well.

Red (Emergency) and Black (Termination) require a bit of finesse and luck. I got my red through sheer luck when two of my pets happen to knock it down low enough for that faithful ball.
I caught a black one right after I taught the red one how to do knockouts.

If it's difficult, try serving Jure until she gives you Sasumata. That should trivialise catching mobs.

Black bell > Red Bell > Silver > Gold (In terms of raw power)

Gold is the slowest and is melee. It's not actually useful at first but can be AP trained the best.

Silver is immune to all element, resistant to majick, and is decently fast for north Tyris. It is ranged by default. This is your go-to bell if you want to wreck some shit.

Red makes for a wonderful tanker/fighter because it's downright mean to everybody.
It'll provoke everyone and then fight them in melee. Requires a lot of coddling before they turn into a weapon of mass destruction.

It will help levelling the weapon. You can grab the gun back to level up once it reaches 100%.

This Zeome guy is unkillable. Holy hell. I hired the three top adventurers, a 39,000 and two 41,000's to fight him, and we couldn't out-DPS his healing. I can get him low, sure, but he heals to fast and too rapidly, and then the AOE spams everything to death.

How do I get the DPS required to kill him??

Multiple elements on a living weapon results in low damage, fills up your message log and will not inflict relevant statuses if too low (I found this out the hard way; better to have one strong element of which the damage is divided by enemy resist once than many weak ones that are each divided and practically nullified)

Get an adamantium material kit, equip update it to a laser gun, craft repair it, spend the remaining levels on chaos (the element damage will still get higher even if it already shows #####+ same w/ resists) and that gun will be pretty strong. If you want your bell to specialize in guns go right ahead, it'll make better use of it than a warrior. It's better than some average crossbow in any case but the bell might have to train up firearm from scratch. If you want a melee guy like your PC to make good use of a living weapon in the shoot slot you could for example level it up and stack resists on it.

Equip update is a recipe in the pot of fusion that lets you change a piece of equipment into a different type of its category, so e.g. a long sword into a lightsaber, a machine gun into a laser gun etc. You need evolution hearts to do it though. Very helpful if you have gear with nice resists but inferior gear type.

Apparently the recruitment list is based on fixed names. Another anon had the idea of giving your current servants (including magic vendors) the name of non-magic-vendor servants with the rename option, this way you will remove the original owner of these names from the servant pool.

For some reason i only tried grenades on lv 200+ chars before and they dealt very mediocre damage. Mito has only around lv120 throwing now and physical damage part is 10 times lower than invoke.

Resistances are under dimishing returns rule, you can never get 100% resistance.
But it also means that even small amounts of resistances will go above 50% reduction, and damage will go through general magic resistance and then through the elemental resistance.

Yeah, no. Resistance formulas got nothing to do with this.. You either go for lazy magic element which got generally high damage without debuffs, use megid flame and rape everything with sky-high ice/lightning while spamming water ball rod, or rely on status effects/lifesteal from other lements, preferrably with nightmare invoke. I have to be very careful about spamming meteor especially if a monster puts rage on me. I've killed myself with my own meteor despite superb resists and being level 200 with a test character. Also had fun doing a test run in how far I could go in the void with meteor but got curb stomped when things started surviving it.

I'd hate to imagine Karata crab showing up as a boss monster. Hexes would hardly stick and I'm not sure if you can remove bitflags off of enemies. Besides the point though. I guess the only people that can really comment about whether meteor spam works later on are people that do very high level awakened dungeons or void. Only way to know if what you say works well enough is if you actually got that far yourself with that plan.

Ran all the buffs so I had eleshield. Didn't have a magaqua though. When I had rampage on I was like killed 2x over yet I still saw enemies around me. Guess the damage got to me before them.
