Its the stupid dark elements that come along those big bulky boars and other enemies. So when my tank is too busy trying to deal with the flood of boars, the dark elements just rip and tear everything I have placed with true damage and kill someone or multiple people making me lose the 3*. And I hate it because I cant think of anything to deal with them.

But her design really is exceptional: she was probably chosen as the English-speaking character to reference the exchange where the mayor of Tokyo sent 3000 cherry blossoms to Washington, DC in 1912, and the US returned the gesture three years later with 3000 dogwood trees. Similarly, her using a dagger despite being a magic-attribute character is possibly because "dogwood" and "dagger" share a common etymology (from "dag" or "to stab", as the tree was used to make skewers), and her bull-summoning skill may be a result of another similarity between Cornus and cornu ("horn"), though the words are not directly related.

It's not just Dogwood either, virtually every knight in this game has a few connections like that (and the JP wiki, as always, is an amazing resource for catching all of these). You have small touches like Madagascar Periwinkle aspiring to be a maid because "old maid" is another name for her flower, Artemisia having a snake for a pet because it's said that the first wormwood grew on the trail of the serpent that was cast out of Eden (she also comes with an absinthe spoon and glass for obvious reasons), or the researcher team all having flower meanings related to the mind (Lacquer Tree's "intelligence, clear mind", Rosemary's "memories", Horse Chestnut's "natural talent" and the upcoming Plane Tree's "genius"); as well as more substantial references like Water Hyacinth being a pirate because her flower is a notoriously invasive weed that infested nearly every major river and lake in the world (and despite its destructiveness, this is a very attractive plant that was also called the "beautiful blue devil", hence her crew's name) or Gajumaru combining a native Okinawan tree with an Okinawan weapon (tonfa) and an Okinawan spirit (kijimuna) that is said to specifically live in these figs.

After all these browser/mobile games that take the easy way out with "let's slap an eyepatch on this girl and call her Odin" kind of characters, it really is a joy to see so much love and care go to these little things in FKG. I don't think I'll ever get bored with the designs in this game.

NY Elyse is the best for raw output, especially with a Dancer in tow, but she's lacking the extra perks that Aix and Rinne bring to the table. Neither Aix nor Rinne have high per-cast healing power, but both area heal and mitigate incoming damage such that they punch above their weight. Anyone here play Otogi? I logged in to find a bunch of 5* guarantee tickets along with some pick tickets as well so I figured I might as well give this game a try for a while. JP wiki is kind of confusing as to what sort of team I should be building. The game feels similar to Kamihime (besides the NTR shit) in that it seems like you want to build teams that revolve around one element. The guaranteed 5* tickets gave me a nice variety of girls of differing elements but not enough to fill out a team. I haven't used my pick tickets yet however, as I'm trying to figure out which element to invest in still.

It's probably better to try your hand at the temporary revival, permanent revivals with girls you like, or the daily maps for gold, fairies and elixirs. You can also 3-medal story and nation maps for extra flower stones, and once you get stronger, these spare periods will be used for things like Aqua Shadow and whale maps (which are generally unlocked every other week).

But keep in mind that you aren't done with the shop yet: It will be updated on Monday with another batch of items, including more ampules and new event equipment. However, second halves of events also come with more stamina-efficient event maps, so clearing things out is easier then (but this doesn't really apply now because swan boat events are easy to begin with, thanks to the betting mechanics).

Lastly, be sure to keep spare betting tokens (shells for this event) for Sundays, as these days have final races that award good items for using up a total of 300 (distributed in any way you like). You don't want to miss out on free life crystals and gacha tickets.

It's really dull and boring to look at compared to the JP side. Doesn't have that feel for something called Flower Knight Girls. Also, while there might be some improvement in the newer girls, a look at the old scenes still have the "swear-like-a-sailor" Edelweiss and 3rd-person stuff that some girls got. Aigis has some nice innovations as well, I like how some characters first appear as enemies prior to being implemented. I recall Metus, Anatolia, Moltena and Blanche being introduced that way, and there's that fireball-slinging big tits angel who has yet to become summonable.

But FKG seems to have a much larger writing team compared to other DMM games, as evidenced by the huge number of character quests and H-scenes implemented every week. It wouldn't be surprising if they had story developments planned in detail for the next year or so, it's very common for some major characters to be mentioned 4-5 months before actually appearing in person. I still suspect that the flower decorations on the fake popularity contest characters weren't just for show, and that they were meticulous enough to plan for the possibility of any of these girls winning the poll and becoming a flower knight.

Quite the opposite, you struck gold here: She's an all-around excellent unit who will pull her weight (and more) on every map, as befitting a black archer. She's an ideal early deploy and benefits greatly from dancers like other multishot archers, and while she won't quite match the single-target DPS output of Rion and Nanaly, she edges them out against multiple midboss-level enemies like demon swordsmen in Furfur, deep ones in Vepar, greater demons in various other majin, and final rushes in many subjugations. Ranged assassination on her regular skill is also nifty in a variety of situations, as some tough enemies like Beelzebub's demon flies and Phenex's avengers are vulnerable to instant kills. Being a brown girl drawn by a top-tier artist in yaman** is the icing on the cake.

Game has been really fun so far, glad I picked it up during anniversary when people were taling about it. The thing I don't quite understand yet is the bloomed affection part. Where exactly am I supposed to get the hearts to do that with my girls and what's the main source of bloomed affection gifts? No rewrite happened on DMM, they simply stopped adding content that isn't vanilla. At first it was pretty much 50/50, some vanilla, some not-vanilla. Nutaku did this to over a dozen games now, including high-budget flagship titles from DMM, largely due to their own mismanagement (they either removed/censored content in these games, or basically never updated them). They somewhat cleaned up their act lately, but I still wouldn't bet on the long-term survival of any game on Nutaku, bar possibly Kamihime and FKG. The closure of Aigis, a game so popular on DMM that it dethroned Kancolle a couple times in all-ages rankings and still ranks consistently on top 10, should be enough of a wake-up call.

I think they're trying to make an undead triad with similar powers between Sylvia, Ema and her. Sylvia is broken, Ema is not quite at that level but still really good, and this jiangshi will probably be Sylvia-tier thanks to her above-average class and incredibly bloated kit.

I mean, this is a unit that inherently deals true damage, auto-retreats, has tokens that will probably also deal true damage, can stun enemies on death, and gets a skill that increases her range and attack while making her multi-target. You could give that kit to Anri and even she'd be good, but jiangshi also have good statlines to boot.

Ema is dogshit, a tank with one block and not enough defense and hp to compensate for her unhealability, will get absolutely destroyed by any relevant boss. She's borderline unusable, no doubt part of the trash pantheon together with the likes of Mephisto and Eldora.
The only way to fix her would be to enable 3 block to her SAW too, which will change her from a shit tank to a good (double) wave clearer. They'll never do it obviously.

Eldora is pretty okay with her awakening since she's attacking both enemies she's blocking. If there isn't a rush, I tend to use her instead of an armor since she's taking care of what she's blocking instead of letting them pile up. Does about 80% of the work for 80/8 fairies and decent for dropping on bosses, but I still have to level her before she can take on golems with her 90% chance for damage nullification.

Still not really someone to purposely roll for though.

They should give swordmasters a small chance (10%? 15%?) to trigger their ougi on regular attacks, independent from their skill. So if you use Meteor to block something, she can actually hit it a couple times and then start dropping meteors everywhere, and you can use her skill for even more meteors afterwards.

Then add a swordmaster with a "randomly use any ougi in the game" skill and "whenever this unit activates her skill, all other swordmasters get a free use of their ougi, independent of their cooldowns" passive, and you'll have, if not something potent enough for endgame maps, at least a very fun gimmick team.

Sandra and Gloria are very good budget units for lower levels, too. Anti-air specialty, infinite range and uncounterability are all very relevant for Furfur, while Gloria can oneshot a lot of things in Phenex (as you mention).

Raven likewise is valuable for taking out demon flies and dominions or just thinning out enemy swarms. Meteor's thirty year cooldown and Rischelte's whiff-bait skill are the only real underperformers there.

I don't have her, but I'm guessing that enemies can regenerate in between her hits if they aren't killed with the first (each hit comes out very fast, but regeneration in Phenex 15 is instant). Other blacks like Farne and Berna would be more suitable for that map, and even Gloria boasts a lower CD while offering similar AoE oneshot potential.

Sieglinde is still great though, it's hard to argue with 10% attack to all melee units. It's just that optimizing her single-target SAW is usually not worth the trouble, so her regular skill is probably better for general use.

FKG actually has a relatively even distribution of loli, elder sister and regular girl (~high school age) archetypes, but they started making more loli characters (especially rainbows) after the entire viewer base asked for it in one of their streams. Nowadays the demand for the three body types is about equal (to the extent that these factions are apparently called the "three kingdoms" on 2ch), and so is the crop of characters. There are still a lot of petite girls though, here's an old compilation of them.

Speaking of which, looks like the second volume of FKG's new LN series is coming on May 2018, and we can reasonably expect a broadcast around the middle of April too, since their latest update schedule ends with next week's Easter event. Unlikely whales have enough gold moon-tier weapons in their grid to make a difference since free SSR uncap items are a very recent thing so it's doubtful they kept separate copies around, so just by fully completing events catching up to a whale should be doable.

As for rarity growing 2*-4* girls, what I can find on Twitter suggests that the system is pretty similar - the only major difference is that, instead of promoting at level 80 and resetting to bloomed level 1, you promote at level 60 and reset to evolved level 1 (and can bloom the character as a 6* afterwards). I have no personal experience though, so sorry if I'm mistaken.

Unfortunately no, glasses girls are really rare (and just as precious) on FKG, and all we have are Cymbidium, Iris, Sweetpea, Cornflower, Mimosa, Lobelia and Pingpong Mum.

What flowers would best be represented as glasses-wearing knights, anyway? One old idea is skeleton flower as a Cosmos-level pervert with glasses that fog up during her delusions (the reverse of the real plant, which has petals that are opaque when dry but become transparent when wet). 2ch's take on that flower is a girl whose clothes get transparent when evolved, though, which is honestly a better interpretation.

I guess you could combine the two and get an oppai loli with thick, opaque glasses and a regular school swimsuit in her regular art, and both her glasses and swimsuit become transparent when evolved.

She doesn't get new art, at least not yet. She's relatively unimpressive as a rainbow, as she lacks the extreme specializations of some other promoted girls (Alstroemeria's single-target first turn burst, Cyclamen's barrier, Waterlily's stall) and instead just focuses on doing as much damage as possible, in as little time as possible. This may be useful is Nidhogg-type wave battles become commonplace in the future, but as things are now, the lack of dodge really hurts her in particular.

There is no such thing as a bad rainbow though, save the gift Alstroemeria, and she may end up getting buffed in the future.

Cenote is the worse elementalist and it's safe to just sell her for RC, correct?
