I've gone back and had a look at them and yeh, it looks a bit weird. If I were to use one of the pcc I'd probably just make it the same colour as the rest of the face. I see what you're going for with the white areas on the boobs, artists do that quite a bit in anime style images but I don't think I've ever seen an image with a shiny bit on their top lip. Not really an issue just the order of things I've planned out for my character. I plan to get the palace before I do the void in the timeline I have in my head for him. All of my gold prior has gone to investing in every single magic vendor in North Tyris, amassing a stockpile of potential/evolution potions, getting 9 farms, a museum, and a shop. I saved some gold by building my first home using the pot for fusion. Been also training up my character. I definitely have the means to get the palace now so it's only a matter of time.

No I think you're right, the line really doesn't add anything. I was editing the bodies anyway so that's a quick fix. Earlier I was taking a shot at the nine tails, and realized the tails would be a nightmare to animate. I was mashing some other tails together but I'd rather draw them from scratch (takes far longer though). Race doesn't matter, for god I'd go through as many as possible before sticking with Kumiromi, just earn money doing the trading/questing/farming gamut back and forth between towns, invest in shops and properly outfit your pets, get an herb farm going and you're good. Black markets and adventurer trading are your friends early on for resist equips.

Gravity control may be useful for additional speed up bonus if you worship kumiromi and use regen buff. Stack it several times for very good speed boost.

Magical plant knowledge if you want easy clear of weak mobs.

Favorite skill is faith if you want to get last god reward in first year or performer since it takes a lot of time to level early. Start rabbit ranch and perform there to train. Then eat your public for luck.

You can get jewelry/equipment by robbing slaves and then re-selling them back to slaver in derphy. Mountains of gems are easily gained from gem farms, you can craft huge amount of rods for Itzpalt. Store heavy corpses in 4DP or cooler box in ally's inventory and use heavy corpses to overtake altars.
Getting high enough faith is relatively easy with preaching and passive growth during sleep on good bed, so just keep potentials high.

Mage is relatively easy unless you want to solo. Puppy cave got a lot of pooks on the floor so i've had no trouble with spellstock. Early its better to realy on pets more to conserve MP, just try to keep half of MP in case of emergency. Get Hypnotism or Poison Nail feats and lv20 alchemy for a nice +mag boost with Resolution Hand.

I recommend focusing on alchemy to a large extent, getting dupli-cane early makes it much easier to clear nefias, especially with water ball rod. When you buff yourself with Divine Wisdom/Resolution Hand, Itzpalt's absorb magic recovers a plenty of mana.

Act 2 is all about character growth. At least that's what it is for me. I love Act 2 because you have access to almost every feature to make your character strong but it can be overwhelming in that aspect. Act 1 for me was setting up the foundation for sustained character growth so now it's just following through which I find more interesting. You have access to AP so raise your speed and skills with it. Maybe buy those special traits. Dungeons should be spawning high enough monsters to give you AP and level your skills. Should be able to do the void and now sustain an herb farm to supplement attribute growth from working on your skills. I also think act 2 is prime to get serious about working on a pet(s) too.

that line is the random factor deciding what seeds you get. When it's >= 90, its herb. not sure what exactly sdata(180) is (the offset would be ~ 720 and elosnack starts at 2000), but sdata's generally reserved for character stats, and the 0 means it checks yours. so it's unlikely you have any way of directly influencing the seeds you get DURING a harvest time quest.

Besides the monthly change every + enchant at the blacksmith changes the list. You can scroll through selections by enchanting and checking your options rinse repeat. You can only enchant to +15 however, you can disenchant with acid to scroll backwards through the list but the good materials of course are resistant. Still an option if you have enough kits. I say bare minimum because past a certain point the main goal is just acquiring herb seeds. The rewards for harvest time aren't anything special, and the extra seeds you occasionally get are because the rewards from it are pulled from a similar pool to the general goods store, who occasionally sells low level seeds. All my characters have been pet people, I found 4 ideal, or if you use the tag system, up to 8 (4 pairs). Don't get a whole bunch at once, slowly add one at a time and get them a full set of skills/gear/money making sure they can take care of themselves before moving on to the next one. Save old gear for hand-me-downs, spread out resists and check black markets all the time. Come midgame AP and living weapons are the main deal, make use of directive/command flag grinding up each of them if necessary. Get all barrier and tweak their AI at Leold (e.g. shadowstep+reduce movement chance to 40 for melee pet). With some work eventually their power evens out and afterwards little managing is needed on your part anymore.

Before i started roleplay/theme parties it was 5-7 for me - mount, platinum song+mage/debuff spam tag team, 1 or 2 melee tag teams, one of which is dragon child. generally 2nd melee tag team only appeared after i've equipped first one accordingly. My biggest regret would be karata, since i've been forced to reset his INI and feed him big amount of hero cheese, thus wasting quite a bit of time.

The idea here is to prevent characters from growing extremely quickly when starting off, and to alleviate the stagnation in growth in late-game.
This will also help out character that have low starting speed and relatively fewer chances to level attributes and skills.

It's been awhile since I've played, so this may not be current.

You get yourself a rod of summon monsters and a few rods of teleport by looting the puppy cave. You'll also need a portable instrument. You can kill bards for the Strad, but it's not required. Once you have that together, put on all your performance enhancing gear, stock up on food, and go to the Sister's Mansion, which is hidden in the northwestern snowfield.
Once there, go to the girl in the house that acts as a merchant and use the rod of summon monsters near her. She'll spawn in loads of passive level 1 sisters and then murder whatever the rod summoned. Do this until the map can't load in any more NPCs. Then, just zap away big sis with the rod of teleportation and play music for the huge mob of level 1 sisters. You'l get a massive amount of performance training, and they will shower you with all kinds of loot.

Added the new body (PB folder with just base for now). Finished and added frog girl using it, frog folder includes 2 PCCs and 5 portraits. The suit was the most time consuming but rewarding. I've a team of 5 performaids and I don't get noticeably better results with or without them. It might help with more vender trash, but I have a hard time selling everything I get regardless. They'll help you get good results at a lower skill, but when you have good enough performance it doesn't seem to matter much. It is useful for training them though, they always have enough money.

Oh I didn't realize that would be a problem. I guess that makes sense since 789 would probably be reserved in code somewhere for hotkeying stuff.
I didn't have to rebind stuff - my laptop keyboard actually has numlock, but when enabled it turns the keys I mentioned to numpad.
If number row is blocked due to reserved for hotkeys you might have to use an autohotkey script or something to rebind it to numpad 7,8,9.

Does crit or pierce really do more than magic damage? Any hard numbers to back that up because once you have high enough crit even with just eye of mind magic damage is going to do a good amount of damage and pierce is an all or nothing thing due to being based on chance and needing to invest deep into it to make it work often. Even then does absolute pierce damage equal or exceed the damage magic damage can do?

if its an unused weapon for ranged slot(since melee char), crits/piercing is the best. In general its better to max out magic/lightning(if you have dragon child and can wetten targets) damage for active weapon.
Absolute pierce puts debuff that increases your base damage on target, thus you get higher on-hit magic damage as well if you have it. better have all 3 - pierce and crits on equipment and magic/elemental damage on weapon.

I dont like some decisions but I still think he is doing it right and his general direction is good. The only complaint would be large gap between character scaling(both pc and npc) and spact power scaling. He made a ton of fun and interesting additions, in plus you can make pretty crazy amount of different lategame builds/parties and all of them will work one way or another.

For me personally, it's a lot of the scalings combined with his decisions on what should be viable.

To start, the resists scalings mean magic falls off really, really hard unless you grind super hard. Even then, the most efficient way to kill people just becomes meteor due to its ridiculous scaling in combination with being screen wide destruction (there's a reason it's the only damage spell custom ai blocks). Other spells become exercises in frustration.

PV and stat scaling means ranged falls off hard as well. Pierce is a necesity in Act III and onward, and the best ranged has to offer is 40% on ballistas. Combined with the lack of a style-specific skill (like how melee has dual wield/2h), ranged barely has the damage to keep up with the PV scaling nor the pierce to make up for it.

Dodge also got nuked hard, though that's more a result of any scaling at all, and just that the Dodge/Crit interaction was poorly planned out. To play a dodge build, you have two dodge skills to grind up, both are a pain in the ass. In addition, you generally need armor that has shitty PV like cloths, meaning anything that gets through at higher levels is killing you, 100%. Even if you started keeping evade up to spec, Greater Evade is a rare proc and any stray crit can mean instant death.

Finally, there's melee. Dual wield invoke spam parties got nuked hard by 1.76 (which also hurt timestop-burst really hard too, mind you) with a large amount of attacks being much less effective than before. As stated before, the best melee ends up being martial arts (also best damage period at high levels) due to a combo of the ridiculous scaling, lack of reliance on gear aside from extra hits, and a whopping 8 attack max per hit, completely unique to MA. 2H comes in at a close second. Damage is good and lightsabres clear the pierce requirement, but MA damage is just so damn high.

Ofc, I don't think everything needs to be perfectly equal (whats the point in choosing then?), but Ano's nerfing of damage types that were already pretty fringe irritates me, especially when we need more options, not less. Furthermore, magic needs a way to make non-meteor viable, probably starting with raising the magic equip cap or not having meteor be a 100x better ball spell in range and scaling. Its only downside is it isnt affected by control magic, meaning without resist/hp you'll kill your whole party including yourself. Pierce should be reworked into something that can be fused up (abs pierce chance is okay, but making artifact fusion offer more options is cool anyway). Ranged could use some better range-modifiers so there aren't useless weapon types like pistols, along with style skills for Straight Shooting (crossbows, firearms) and Arcing Weapons (bows, throwing).

This is all personal opinion. Most of it has to do with elona being a stat game, where either your stats beat theres or yours dont, and scaling it too hard will always be a bad idea. I still love what hes done with pets, keeping unique reasons to get some (spact/cbit) but keeping all of them viable through food/ap changes. I wish evos were generally better and more unique rather than basic stat increases, and I wish ST/LI were more of full worlds you'd wanna move your house to rather than travel points on your way to one or two services

Dodge was considerably boosted. Ranged relies on piercing ammo for vorpal, and he added throwing stones boost for 70% arpen, better than any weapon but lightsabres. Also ammo triggers aoe effects and stuff on gauge attacks, making it somewhat interesting to use, together with ammo types. Thrown have proper AOE and long-range attack.

Magic doesnt fall off that much. I'm growing my own mage right now. It is a couple of times weaker than melee vs single target, but you can attack many targets at once so it pays off. Obviously you need slightly more well-thought setup to make magic work, but vanilla's magic was nonexistant in comparison. He added 20% MAG buff in addition to magic equip, and now there is a bonus rainbow damage on spells. Dont forget wet/oil status effects that act as a good multipliers. Magic is not for 'lazy' players, but its the fun part for me.

DW got hit hard in two cases: when it is a savescummed mutant PC or when your party have many DW pets(latter was the case for my previous save, i'm genuinely sad about this change, but with proper setup this was completely broken). MA forces human-type characters to leave 2 slots free as a payment for it's potential DPS.

I'm not saying Ano did it perfectly but he properly adresses many of the weak points of the original. He did say that armor penetration needs some changes and i'm quite happy with magic additions. Crafting is much more useful now, and artifact fusion is a huge timesink with good payoff, just as it should be.

Claymoai have... really high constitution. Also it's 16 levels higher than you.

So what you probably need in this case is to train your attributes and get more Life and levels. Claymoai are certainly not the last enemy that will deal "pure" damage to you, so if you can't deal with them things are not going to get better.
