Don't fret over it too much. Writing is hard work for anyone. It's been 18 months since I last posted an MG story.

There's nothing wrong with greentexts, but they can be restrictive. Prose is time consuming with a lot of little technicalities to work with but allows you infinite freedom. Just work on what you feel like writing and it'll come out the way you want it to. In my experience you never get results you're happy with if you force the issue. Find some good music to write along with and it'll write itself.
