You can still do it, but the sprite is too tiny to begin with and won't look very good however you scale it (lack of detail). If you really want the character you should edit an existing PCC to mimic it. The design is simple so it should be doable.

Misread, but still living weapons are pretty good for mages since you need only a couple of bonuses to max out damage. For pets nether(selfheal) or mag damage gives the best result. You could safely combine lv15 living weapon with nether damage and crimson plate girdle if you have a healer in party.

Well I'm a fan of end game game static artifacts and using artifact fusion to cram stuff on them to make them better as seen on my prior character >>18589717. However if you do luck out in getting godly blanks, or near it, you might be able to cram more resists of stuff you really need on them than compared to other artifacts of the same slot. Like most godly shoes that you run through artifact fusion will probably be better than even the static artifacts offered in that leg slot. It really depends on how lucky you are in getting a good armor drop. You can get by with just static artifacts for your armor pieces though.

Where artifact fusion/living weapons shine is in weapons rather than armor slots imo. A properly built living weapon or artifact fusion weapon will blow almost every single static artifact weapon out of the water in terms of damage. Example, I was really surprised that a 2d15 living lightsaber filled to the brim with magic damage did much more damage compared to the 1d150 50% pierce Pile Driver on a two hand skill focused character. 100% pierce of the lightsaber and all that magic damage I believe is the reason for it.

Lastly, artifact fusion and living weapons play a nice role in gearing your pets. The problem with static artifacts is that there's only one of them and only so much to go around. So living weapons and artifact fusion help gear your pets.

You get to control what ends up on them, so instead of having a bunch of random mishmashed properties you get exactly what you want.
Also, since you can repeatedly add the same property onto an item, this means you can have significantly stronger properties on an item than you could ever get randomly. There's absolutely no way you'll ever find an item with +2000 vorpal normally for example.

Oh sorry, I should clarify but you can make a pet hold multiple copies of an artifact. The game checks your pets inventories for determining when to turn an artifact into stardust, but it doesn't do it for your pets on a discarded ranch, so you can have a pet with as many copies of an artifact as you want.

I had a dream about Elona. It had real-time netplay and I was playing online. I was in the Void, and every other player in it appeared in the same map even if in different floors. The floor was generated dynamically as people moved, there could be multiple stairs, and the floor was gradually forgotten if no one was there. There was a lot of people, and monster levels depended on who was nearby. From their point of view, all players appeared to move at normal speed, but due to the real-time system other players seemed to move faster or slower relative to them, as if the "walk speed" option in the config was changed. Kai was there, but he was too fast and I couldn't keep up.

That's a narrow way to look at it. With the two gretest bitflags in the game, he has the highest potential. Acting as if hero cheese doesn't exist is ridiculous, and calling him "non-tanky" is just as misguiding. Given proper rubynus gear and cheeses, he can easily survive any of-level content and even above-level content with much less investment than required on other pets(the only gear you need to look for is magic resist and possibly rubynus if you want to skip some cheese). 100 skill points is absolutely absurd, since it enables you to restore potential on the go inside a dungeon.
Once you reach some milestone, you don't need platinum anymore for potential, just get into a dungeon and use your skill points, get out when you are at 2000 AP, rince and repeat.

The rule of thumb is and have always been "starting stats don't matter, only the long-term".
You could have the best of both world though ! You could have a thousand speed for the first act, then farm painstakingly some AP, then reset your INI and get back a lot of your lost speed right after making future AP farming a breeze !

Is there any way to force your party to disband? I'm having an issue where the game thinks my party is full even though I have no one following me. I have the +20% speed boost active, but if I try to use a monster ball or take an escort quest the game tells me my party is full. It started when a hired adventurer died during the Kamikaze Yeek beach mission. They've never respawned and don't seem to appear under the adventurer list anymore.

Anyone allied to you and in active memory is counted against your total. This means pets with you, dead pets, pets at your house, pets “sent to wait at town,” etc.
The only way to remove them from this list is to drop them off at the Discarded Ranch (which turns them into a regular NPC for the time, more or less), drop them off at the Dojo, or abandon them for good.
That adventurer is probably still in your ally list, just dead. Speak to a bartender and get them revived.

Game counts total followers, not active party. You can leave followers at discarded ranch or doujou, or talk to them and tell them to leave(when they are not tagged as precious ally).

Well there are some good sprites and PCCs for the little girl in the Chinese pack in the mod pastebin. If you're looking for full body portraits you're on your own. I usually work backwards where I find the full body portrait first then I look for sprites that look similar that I can edit or is the actual sprite. If that doesn't work I'll just build the sprite from scratch.

Since my character has been adventuring for a couple of years and beating Act 1 passes 3 years, I took various liberties in how my little girl would look grown up. Easier that way to find pictures to use for a full body portrait.

Ideally you get a good picture so you don't have to do a lot of cleaning up. .jpg pictures tend to be pretty bad and tend to have a lot of stray pixels causing the black stuff you mention. Those require a lot of clean up where you have to go in, zoom in, and get rid of those strays. Depending on the picture feathering the edges might be an option to make your work easier but not always. The holy grail of picture types that makes my work a lot easier are .png pictures with a transparent background. Those pictures are usually clean and all you have to do is just dump black paint in the background and you're done. Takes a bunch of time to track those pictures down though especially if you're looking for something specific. You can try your normal image database sites but most are going to be .jpg files and will need cleanup. Some pictures are easier than others of course.

Blessed Potions of Potential. You have two methods of reliably getting these.
The first method is to use Investing with magic vendors till they're at least rank 100, around which they will begin to stock potions of potential at random.
The other method is to grind up Alchemy to the point where you can make your own, though you may find getting enough materials to craft them tricky without a pet that knows Gardening.

Once you have a good amount of the potions, mix a blessed bottle of water with the stack to bless them, then drink up.

This is basically what a pet master does. Big pet parties (e.g. 4-8) have gotten popular since the introduction of the tag system. The usual strategy is as you describe, putting more effort into gearing and training the pets and in combat holding down F/hotkey while pets swarm the enemy. All you'd have to do for a pacifist run is change your hotkeys to something non-damaging like a debuff spell or party buffs. EZ PZ

PArty buffs are generally spacts, healing rain is afaik the only group healing spell, so just go mages guild and stock tons of it along with maybe vanquish hex.

For AP, you're probably not going to be getting any unless you tag team with a murdermachine pet or you solo grind the void some between dungeon runs

There have been a number of loss players whose characters are pet-based, probably because it gives a higher survival rate, and because they need to prioritize survival over all else they seem to become tanks naturally. It works quite well, but it's better to let pets take most of the hits (you'd be using a combination of tanky melee and squishy ranged pets anyway).

Yeah, but you can always grind up combat skills with relative ease after riding the pet wave for a while. The PC will not be nearly as strong as a solo-PC but with a number of well-raised pets you can beat content way above your power level regardless and clear dungeons quick and with minimal effort. Managing loads of pets is not for everyone however, and that's why necromancy is an option and solo has a powerful feat.

What's the best deed in the early game? i'm level 10 and i have almost 100K, i wanted to get a farm but apparently dangerous enemies can spawn and i'm still pretty shit at combat. Should i just get a cozy house? is there any benefits to the house apart from being comfy?

a shop with eqipment specialisation would be a good 1st step, as for farms enemies are rarely strong and mostly in your lvl range. So if you have lots of seeds already get the farm if not get the shop and get some nice side income

What sort of build are you going? Start investing in magic vendors to get potential pots, start an herb farm to get those attributes up, start getting XP to level up for hp/mp/bp. Trying to cheese Act 1 with various carry strats usually will land you hard on your face in Act 2, start building your character.

Basic stuff is getting a shop and starting swimming in money, buying a palace and filling it with 5-7 magic vendors and buy potential potions (bless before use), get statue of kumiromi(will need decently equipped mercenaries) and copy it via little sisters quest.
Start farming herbs, train cooking, make herb'in food to use up stat potentials.
Gene engineer crafting and cooking skills to your pets and keep them at good relationship, gifts/throwing love potions/letting them kill stuff in puppy cave helps. Get to sleep around 9pm to get breakfast bonus.
Learn buff spells and train via wizard npc. Speed, Elemental Shield, Hero, Regen are the most important for melee. Train some healing spell while you are at it.

The build I'm going for was a warrior that was decent with a bow and 2h sword. Currently using <Claymore>, and a repeating crossbow with an insane damage modifier that I got pre level 10.

I had an <Ivy Spine>+10 which apparently I shouldn't have until Act 2 but dropped from a monster.

I've got a sheep farm that gives me a lot of dosh, I have a cat bank of at least 5m.

Haven't done any magic

Have a little sister pet that I turned into a Valkyrie.

I'd take that 100k and invest in a magic vendor before considering properties but if everything is fine on your end then ignore that tidbit. The bigger the house the more servants you usually can hire. Those servants can be pretty useful. Also bigger houses let you store more things in them. The farm does spawn dangerous monsters but for the most part they shouldn't be anything you can't handle and are more annoying than anything. Most my farms just spawn wild life critters like hedgehogs, bats, rabbits, scorpions, and bears. I think the most dangerous critter I encountered so far was a cocatrice but you won't be having to worry about them for quite awhile. Farms are very useful though. They can provide you food that you can sell or be used to sustain yourself. They can provide gems which make getting all the gifts from Opatos and Jure very easy. Can also give you herbs and the possibility of finding a rod of wishing.

I just reached South Tyris myself and the only thing I did so far is complete the lv 60 quest for the Kumiromi statue. Aside from that, I'm going to stick to North Tyris for awhile until I get stronger. I'd suggest doing the same. Grind out some dungeons around your levels or below and work on your skills. Keep your potentials high.

Could sell them for a decent amount of gold in the beginning. Haven't tried this but since spellbooks have a charge you might be able to take the charges from the book and deposit them in say rods if you're a magic device user. Assuming you have the special actions of draw and fill charge

Stick with either Sword or Ranged to start with. Mage/anything hybrids are easier because you usually focus on one or two damage spells and just level those, no need to raise casting/lit beyond the point by which you can read and cast chosen spell. Ranged/Melee weapon hybrids are tricky- you'd need to keep 2h/Tactics/Longsword (if sticking with swords, otherwise whatever melee skill)/Marksman/Ranged skill up all at the same time. Try focusing on one or the other, at least until you catch up and are able to do of-level content, because right now most of your combat skills are barely suitable for late north-tyris shenanigans

Museums got better now that their unique rank gives you pp every month, but they certainly aren't moneymakers. Shops will easily outdo museums- as long as you have a steady flow of items to sell. Whether its cooked food, dungeon gear, manufacturing stuff, etc.

Shops give a metric shitton of gold even if all you do is gathering flowers in nearby fields. I'm not joking about flowers btw.
I recommend buying change material scrolls and using them on equipment with high base price, like wings if you get them from dungeons.

BTW, reselling cheap equipment doesnt work, base buy price is always max sell price.

Hello, this is my first character on Elona and I've been ejoying this game so fucking much.

I'm reading the stuff you guys post here and through some images I found out my character is pretty shit.

What can I do to level up my STRENGHT or CONSTITUTION? I thought mages were supposed to be shit at CON/STR forever.
Some advanced tips for a noob Elona amateur? I already know the basics of the game and I love it.

If you could share stuff you wish you knew when you were a noob like myself.

I'm playing with the version 1.75 because I fear it may break my save if I do an update.
