OK, in before jp - tech/support but I just installed the Saya no Uta patch and the game won't proceed further than the "select gore level screen".

The game works before applying the patch.

Any tips?

If you're getting a black screen after selecting the gore level, that's normal. It takes a long time to load the script so just wait a while.

the engine will take an extremely long time to load the English script - it's taken up to five minutes on an older PC. Personally, it takes around a minute. This can be alleviated by splitting the script into separate files, but I believe I shall refrain from that at the moment. It will likely be done with the finished patch

I also have a Problem running the Game.

After installing it, when i run it, I start a new Game (click on start) after the warning screen (" eveyrthing in this game is fictional") i get an error message.

I get an error message everytime after i clicked on start on the titlescrren, even before applying the english patch.

The error message says something about microsoft visual c++ Runtime Error and that the application requested the runtime to terminate it in a unusal way.
