And yet I and many others always fluctuate between the two, depending on the test and largely how I'm feeling at the time. Patche and Kaguya are also my two favourite girls along with Satori (who I imagine to be INFJ).

I'm INTP according to the cognitive functions, which I researched with a lot of self-doubt. I thought for a long time that I could be an INFP as well, but going deep enough into the theory leaves no room for that. I'm pretty sure about the type that MBTI gives me. I think anyone can be sure of their own too, but it takes more than simply going through a test.

It's funny but prior to that image I've never really thought of Patchouli as interesting, or even as an INTP candidate even though I would love to have the same lifestyle as her (perhaps minus the asthma) were I a girl in Gensokyo. I think it's because to me an INTP is also someone who doubts himself and is especially hard on himself in the pursuit of accuracy of thought, but pretty much any fan work I've seen portrays Patchouli as an annoying know-it-all with nothing that would suggest that Patchouli doesn't just collect knowledge in order to be right about everything. Something about that just doesn't click with me. I'd love to read a doujin where Patchouli would doubt herself, though.

Not giving Patchy a "Judging" label when 'doing things by the book' has been repeatedly regurgitated as one of the main components of her personality is practically blasphemy.
