So here's a CONSPIRACY THEORY based on facts that we can see, and my suspicions based on what i know.


First of all my premise; WHAT IF???? Yui Wasn't fat?


Really. What if Yui Mizuno of Babymetal was having a reaction to something? like medication.

Let's explain:
Her weight gain seems to be mainly around the face, with her arms and legs relatively unchanged, save the process of getting older and aging. This is what we can see, and i don't think King Kobra would let something as important as public image go mismanaged in an Idols life.
There's a ton of money spent to "make" an idol such as sing and acting lessons, schooling, providing most of the essentials needed for living. Then there's the money spent to advertise and promote the idols persona and fame, in the end it costs a small fortune.
Koba won't let a successful idol in one of the most internationally renown acts to have come out of Japan to slip or fail.

But the weight gain is obvious and has been for sometime. I don't think Yui is getting fat, so what is the only thing that he can't control but is something he has to do... maybe providing medication?

Now what would someone like Koba give to someone who was suffering from stress, but a specific type of stress.
Factor in this one BIG supposition, and it's a supposition I'll clarify later on, what if Yui suffers from Adrenal Insufficiency or low Cortisol production in general? Hear me out.


These disorders usually develop later in life, and occurs more commonly in women.


Cortisol is a hormone in the human body that is released in response to stress and low blood sugar. A lack of Cortisol production can result in severe abdominal pains, vomiting, profound muscle weakness and fatigue, depression, extremely low blood pressure, weight loss, kidney failure, changes in mood and personality, and shock.


Enter Hydrocortisone.
This drug is used to fight this deficiency, however it also helps with dealing with stress as there is an increase in Cortisol in the system.
so for Koba this might be killing 2 birds with one stone.
However.
Side effects of Hydro-cortisone include mood changes, increased risk of infection, and swelling. If used as a stress reliever, consistently and/or in large doses visible effects include weight gain, roundness of the face, increased facial hair growth, bruising, and swelling, also including non-visible effects are muscle pain and/or weakness.

So if Koba (or BM doctors) are using Hydrocortisone as a stress reliever then they'd probably be using it a lot, considering the touring BM does.

If she had been taking enough over a long period of time, it's likely her face would swell up, she would become increasingly depressed and suffer from sporadic pains around her body.
If someone was dumb enough to try and offset Yui's pain with pain killers he could be possibly making things worse by ignoring these negative symptoms.

She's well on her way to developing something similar to Cushing disease and... well just look that up on google.

It seems with her current ill health problems and all to coincidental weight problems the symptoms are lining up.

anyway that's my opinion and why i think it, i hope a more experienced doctor on here can confirm or dismantle these suspicious for me.
