She's actually a pretty fun design, with multiple layers of puns and references. The first thing to know about her is that she arrived with another themed set of girls, with youkai as the common ground: Ghost Weed (yuki-onna, she's actually terrible with the cold but got assigned to Winter Rose because of her name), Stink Vine (tengu, also notable as another girl with a downer backstory), Abutilon (chochin-obake, made everyone think she was Chinese Lantern at first) and her standing in for oni and tsuchinoko.

So she's got horns and a club because 鬼灯, of course, while her snake is from カガチ - a shared name for both this plant and snakes, as the fruit has a triangular shape that resembles a viper's head (her skill, Kagachi Launcher, also references this). Hemp's flower language is "destiny, inevitability", and ropemaking was after all the better-known use of the plant for much of its history (apparently, Japanese varieties of hemp are also low in narcotic content, making them only useful for this). You may also want to look into Saffron, who has a pipe, an easygoing personality, and even a connection to clothes through her fashion designer side.

We also an existing representative of the hemp family in Hop, showing that even closely related plants can have vastly different uses. As an aside, umbellifers are especially infamous for this: European water dropwort is a strong poison while the Japanese version is a culinary herb (to the extent that I was surprised at Water Dropwort's benign flower meaning and personality), false parsley is insidious exactly because it resembles any number of edible plants.

Speaking of flower knight wishlists, maybe a star anise with a star-nosed mole pet could be good? If Kiwi can get a kiwi and Pineapple can get an armadillo, surely there's room for other exotic animals in Spring Garden.

She actually looks to be pretty useful, depending on her multipliers, though she doesn't really need mincosting so feel free to just gather the minimum to get her. Her SAW makes her a dedicated tank with high EHP, allowing her to act as a more offensive, short-term Fuuko substitute for people who don't have her, while the taunt on her regular skill is a rare effect that been shown to have value in Glasya-Labolas (a map that oni are inherently well-suited to, thanks to their area attacks). Her AW ability isn't amazing, but could be handy in dedicated youkai teams with their multiple 40+ cost units.

It looks like the plant is fairly hardy, but not a winter flower - its name is derived from the snowy appearance of the leaves during summer, which is probably why she was born in Banana Ocean, the designated summer nation. She also has a really low body temperature (she's apparently cold enough that chocolate doesn't melt at her touch), and combined with her clothes and ice magic, that gave her an unwanted reputation as a yuki-onna.

She's sort of a counterpart for Ionocidium, who does well in her home country of Winter Rose but was sent to Banana Ocean, which she finds to be sweltering.

Anyone got any idea what this is about? I had already logged into FKG and Aigis this morning with no problems. I tried to log into FKG again to collect from the garden and I had been logged out of my account, so I got this when I tried to log back in. Got the same thing on both Chrome and mobile.

Best as I can tell, it's saying my account credentials were compromised? I reset my password and was able to log back in, but checking my game history didn't show anything having been played since Aigis and FKG, at least by most recently played game order. And nothing was amiss on either game. Not really sure what happened.

Talisman is good against heavily armored units like tanks and will slow too
Katana can cut a number of enemies around them while spears probably do not but spears do better against other types of enemies. I forget what the merit of hammer seemed to be.
If you find a class with bells as a weapon, they do a poison aoe, but the one I had didn't seem very strong.

You should check if one of the higher rarity girls places a building for their special ability. The ones I've seen generate bonus ki when enemies are defeated in its aoe. Otherwise just stuff all of your higher rarities together into a party along with whoever you find cute. Maybe worry about terrain bonus later if you want.

Here's my two cents.
6*s:
Kameda is great since she can summon several Red katana tokens which lends you massive deployment utility.
Takato is also great. She's a defensive support and is unique in having the strongest ally damage reduction buff as a Gigant skill (relevant since % ally buffs don't stack).
Warwick is good by simply being a reliable blocker that can hold her own with her Strategem.

5*s:
Sakamoto is really not that great. Gunners are expensive on Ki, and you typically want them to do DPS. Her stratagem is also pretty superfluous for the most part.
Hagi on the other hand is really great. A good Gigant skill combined with a ridiculous strategem that grants 5 (FIVE) block and bonus defense to any unit. Very high synergy with Takato's strategem for reasons that should be apparent.
Oko is quite good as a cheap and focused ally attack buffer that outputs decent damage herself.
Oka is alright for DPS, but her strategem is kind of useless which ends up needlessly inflating her Ki costs which is bad for a Crossbow unit.
Galliard is good if you need more blockers but she doesn't really do anything Warwick couldn't do better.
Odani and Yamato-Koriyama are quite useful since they have strong Gigant skills and their lack of strategem makes them cheaper to use.
I don't really like Iwadonoyama.

Also consider raising and remodeling Yanagawa since she gives you ki ramp.

Congrats. Keep in mind that three of your blacks are relatively passive, though, so you'll probably rely on Sylvia and thunder Prince to breeze through early maps. I'd recommend shooting for a cheap ranged DPS option next: Nanaly and Rion are considered the best, due to their potent synergy with dancers, but Asherah, Minerva and Sue are also respectable choices, so go with whomever you like best. Altair, while strong, isn't too crucial since your Katie and a mincosted Liselotte will meet your UP needs for a very long time, unless you've got something like deploying multiple oni in mind.

I don't really use her though because she's a bit clunky. to get the most out of her tokens she has to be in range, and both her and the tokens are fragile as shit so she needs a tank placed afterwards. but if there's aoe it fucks with things a whole lot because if her tokens die any range approaching tank will kill them.

in the right situation she can do a lot of damage though.

She's an extremely low cost token user. Doesn't attack herself (Not counting her SAW) but her tokens deal true damage with a splash and get buffed with her attack & def stats when placed in range of her.
You can have 3 tokens out (first one doesn't count towards deployment) and the only real weakness is that they're squishy as fuck but you have over 10 of them and they're cheap as fuck so they're pretty disposable anyway.

Oh, you've got Clarice? Your early DPS worries are over, then. As others have said, she's broken because of her ability to deploy cheap elemental tokens that do AoE true damage, and she's got 15 of them, so you can just toss them around to stall strong but slow-attacking enemies like golems. This is important because magic city is full of golems and usually acts as a brick wall in story mission clears, but it will be considerably easier for you, especially since Sylvia can facetank them as well.

Her weakness is that elemental tokens beyond the first take up deployment slots, so she's not as amazing in endgame stages where every unit slot counts. In other stages, though, you can deploy a bunch of elementals and let them mow down most everything in range, and she's especially effective for beginning players because raising her effectively means that you're raising three DPS units (four after SAW). Just remember to keep her elementals within her range, but even that is not very difficult since her range is pretty decent.

As for Sylvia, yes, her other perks are useful but the real kicker is her SAW: 30 seconds of physical damage immunity and 1.5x attack/defense to Prince, Emperor and princesses. Both components would have been great on their own; combined, they make Sarah one of the best support units in the game.

Personally I think you should be fine with what you have no for awhile. Considering you brought the 10k pack you should be sitting well above the 165 stones for another guaranteed black again in no time with a fresh account. I'd wait to see what that brings before you spend your ticket desu, it's your game though so just do whatever makes you happy.

Getting my first few AWs done is going to be a wild ride, especially with how many plat armors + black fairies I'm going to need for my blacks. Thinking about doing my AWs something like Sylvia > Rinne > Sarah > Mireille > Lieselotte (when she comes back). Was thinking about using my 200 DC from Alicia as well to get 2 AW fairies so I could try and rush AWs pretty hard, alongside the one I got from fame already.

I'd actually recommend investing in Katie rather than Liselotte, since she's cheaper and has a vastly superior AW2 path. Alegria and gold CR fairy gifts are also very common, so getting her to top condition won't be very difficult, and her AW/AW2 are similarly less taxing on your gold. To be fair, though, I'm strongly biased towards KT since she's a glasses-girl.

As for prioritizing Sylvia for AW, it's a decent call, but do give it some extra thought because she's still a perfectly serviceable unit at level 80. While you should maximize her skill level as soon as possible, her SAW is a preference type rather than an improvement type: If you want to drop her directly on tough enemies and take them out with no wind-up time, then you should stick with the regular skill, but if you'd like to deploy her early and slowly ramp her into an unbeatable monstrosity, then SAW is the way to go.

The real benefit from her AW is her token, which is cheap and shares most of her ridiculous stats, giving you two duelists for the price of one. I don't use her because of slot constraints, but rearguard tacticians are an inherently strong class and Leona's personal perks make her one of the best free units.

Once in a while, there are campaigns that cut the stamina needed for these maps by 30%. Using your nectar during these will get you the most bang for your buck.

Events and log-in campaigns also give you a good number of fairies, and doing secret gardens (especially 80-stamina ones) will also get you better-than-average fairy yields. Run events until you get the units, their upgrades, and their equipment. That means whatever is current and the top banner in the revival tab. The ones below the top banner are permanent and you can do them whenever. When you're not running the current event/revival, spend time doing dailies as needed (dragons, manyu/EXP, gold) to strengthen your units. The effects aren't too pronounced early on, but not even Aix-buffed Sage Rinne can reach further than a spot or two away by the later maps. Feng Shui Users supposedly still lessen its duration, but it still seemed to hang around way longer than most detrimental weather conditions. The worst part of Noxious Mist is that it seriously hamstrings your healing, while also keeping your ranged girls from clearing out enemy trash until they're literally right on top of your blockers.

Then you have to contend with Barb chuckling his lanky ass across the eastern end of the map, plinking away at any units placed past the first third of the western end. His second form attacks all units in range--quickly--and is pretty dangerous to girls with low defense. Add enemy Griffin Rider rushes (50% physical dodge), Cerberi (ranged true damage), Makai Rats (true damage DoT field), Minotaurs (fuckhuge attack), Chimerae (paralysis), and Trolls (regen), and you've got yourself a salt party.

Good summary. Barbatos is the "no fun allowed" majin, other stages give you challenges while his is focused on taking your options away. He's also the hardest of the lot to me, I can do all the rest at level 9-10 but I'm stuck at 7 for him.

World 9 and onward has been adjusted to remove spinners. You might not have gotten to true spinner hell yet, I love this game to death but I swear old 10-5 has been designed personally by Satan.

It's a good example of the game's gradual improvements, though: FKG at its inception not only had these godawful maps, but also featured other excessively fun mechanics like misfiring your solar drive, attacking dead pests if you used fast forward, a "raid boss is already dead" message that popped up 80% time before you could attack them (you can beat on dead RBs all you want now), enemies with percentile HP-based attacks, and zombie units that survived after getting their HP depleted under certain circumstances, but died immediately on the next battle (well, alright, that was a good one - my first ultimate map was completed because of this, thanks to Rose).

Other notable improvements include things like garden, stamina nectar, searches, quests, infinite storage (and storage itself, for that matter), pest encyclopedia, seasonal lines, actual challenge maps, 80-stamina daily maps not dropping 5-year fairies/dragons, Kodaibana/Aqua Shadow EX not taking stamina on failure until you clear the map and so on. Despite all that, FKG was still one of the better DMM games at the time, since "the average DMM game" doesn't exactly set a high bar.

They aren't exactly bells, but there are a bunch of similar instruments in Girls Symphony, so you may want to check it out once it comes back on. From the character list, there's Elbel and Angelica (triangles), Zill and Supra (crash cymbal and splash cymbal), Shirin (tubular bells), Aeoli (wind machine), Belshushu (Glockenspiel) and assorted drums (Taburin/tambourine, Ringer/timpani drum, Suura/bass drum, Nefmertaha/mehter drum, Nare/snare drum, Tamtam/hand gong, Lulukatta/darbukka). There are also a decent number of bell tsukumogami in 99hime (at least one is drawn by an amazing artist in ms06s), but that game is ancient and mostly dead.

And damn, did GS have that many glasses girls? There's Emma Chabrier, Georgia Bizet, Seppe Tartini, Bedriska Smetana and Claris Adam for glasses proper, plus Monica Ravel and Paula Peri for monocles. That's more glasses than FKG, despite it having a two-year head start and over three times as many characters (but I still remain hopeful). I kind of wish I was a classical music buff instead, not taking the pre-register seriously and missing three free rainbows is a serious damper for playing GS.

I think I'll try for that gemstone game instead, so that I can truly be a modern Major-General.

FKG has 5000 DMM points as the standard price for special deals too, I'm afraid. There are some $30 deals, but they're rare, and there's a "$5 for two guaranteed golds" deal that a lot of people took because this year's DMM anniversary campaign gave a free 500 points to everyone.

None of these games require payment, though, which is kind of why they survived to begin with. Despite considerable success in the past, whale-heavy games don't perform so well on modern DMM.

Had Mireille block the right golem with support from Ingrid and the Lapis I fielded to get rid of the first crystal wave, and Karma held off the left one for as long as she could before Clarice's tokens took over and pummeled it, with static shock prince zapping the other crystal wave as well.
