I had been hoarding life crystals for months in preparation for something like this. One more D-ticket next week, and I'll be able to pick a rainbow, and surprisingly soon too: it has been less than 10 months since rainbow medals were implemented.

Also, the full showdown against Acacia corps is fun, with the boss members changing each map and their specialty as transport guards figuring into the fight.

Sounds good to me. Do keep in mind that even majin 10 stages can be handled by less amazing blacks and plats (or even event units with more specialized kits), though, so getting cream-of-the-crop girls isn't that necessary. In addition, top-tier units like Sophie, Kayou, Nanaly and Rion may not get too much attention compared to Elyse, Rinne and Lapis, but they're also extremely potent in endgame stages.

Part of this is also because healers are the only non-negotiable class in Aigis, you can do your damage in any number of ways but you need to have a healer in nearly all conceivable scenarios (except some extreme edge cases, I think my Kimaris run used Farne in place of a healer because I needed all the burst damage I could get). As for Lapis, she's in a league of her own.

You'd be surprised. Between your initial reroll, the black tickets, the pity blacks and plat+ tickets from monthly RC shop/150 SC stamp card (towards which you should save, at least until you exhaust the daily/revival SCs and collecting 150 becomes too much of a hassle), you'll probably get 6-8 blacks within your first six months of play. Add some of the better plats (Saria, Dolce, dancers, elementalists, youkai) to that and you'll have a serviceable majin team, though it'll still take you a good while to AW/SAW/2AW your units and have enough flexibility to adjust your team for specific maps.

I've been playing for two years and have 13 non-dupe blacks, and even this should be considered extremely unlucky (I didn't reroll and had no blacks for the first eight months in this game). Then again, I'm still not too good when it comes to majin: level 10 versions of Furfur and Glasya-Labolas still remain on the list, while I couldn't even break level 7 on Barbatos because of its "have Rinne or die" fog gimmick.

She's the upper queen, Lotus is the queen of the submerged regions. It's a pretty nice touch: Lotus Lake has upper and lower kingdoms like Egypt, except in this case it's literal instead of reflecting parts of the river. They had been joking about making Lotus Lake an Egypt-based nation for a long time, but I never made the connection until I realized what the "two queens" thing meant.

And yeah, too bad we already had Waterlily and Blue Lotus by then, because I'd have expected them to use the plants representing the two kingdoms (Egyptian waterlily and papyrus sedge) as queens. I'm always hopeful for a sedge of some sort being made into a knight, since Lotus Lake has a strong focus on water plants - the flower meaning of Asian flatsedge, a close relative of papyrus, is "history" and "tradition", so she would be a glasses-wearing, Yomiko-ish librarian, right? Basically a mix between healer and mage. She's a pretty solid unit to have. As for Which AW2 is best, I'm leading toward Patriarch due to the gradual heal all units get from her.
Philosopher is pretty nice too due to the bigger AOE though, the multiplier against angels isn't bad but situational. I do like the look though.

Well, carnivorous plants are not that easy for FKG, since many of them are not represented in the language of flowers. There are only two girls (Devil's Claw and Oxygyne, both from the LNs) in the game with no associated flower meanings so far, while it plays strongly into the design and personality of other knights: Lavender's "distrust" makes her a yandere, Dendrobium ("selfish beauty") has a kit full of personal buffs, Easter Cactus ("resurrection") has a phoenix and a revival ability, Nazuna ("I offer my everything to you") was chosen as the assistant knightmaster, Maple ("important memories") cherishes her deceased sister, Water Dropwort ("virtuous in poverty") comes from a poor family and sends back most of her income to them, Dusty Miller ("supporting you") never takes center stage and assists you from the shadows and so on. It's hard to find any flower knight without some reference to the language of flowers, and there are some nice twists too, like how Apple ("to the fairest") lusts over beautiful women rather than being jealous of them.

Still, there are three other more-or-less carnivorous plants in the game: Nepenthes (who shows up as an enemy in the first LN and gets befriended into oblivion thanks to Solar Drive), Catchfly (who captures and dissects pests for that reason) and Nazuna herself (as shepherd's purse has seeds that plug the mouthparts of insects with mucilage, killing them to nourish themselves). Some of the plants you mention also have established flower meanings: sundews get "duplicity, dishonesty, insensitivity" (but also "surprise" and "a serenade", and the plant once enjoyed a much better popular image: before Charles Darwin showed that it ate bugs, Erasmus Darwin called it a queen and compared its sticky droplets to a crown or halo, and even the Big C himself is on record for saying "at this present moment I care more about Drosera than the origin of all the species in the world"), "deceit" and "caught at last" for Venus flytraps, and "doubt, distrust" is sometimes mentioned for bladderwort. Carnivorous plants in general are popular for obvious reasons too, the chances are good that we'll get some more in the future.

Also, Sarracenia's art looks very good to me - I like how her design contains both a name pun (she's carrying heishi sake vessels, since another name of the plant is essentially "heishi-wort") and plenty of botany references, and her personality is top-notch too. Definitely consider getting her in the future, if you haven't already.
