hey /jp/

sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I was wondering about how difficult it is to put together plastic models. The local comic shop has had one of these on sale for awhile, and, though I'm interested in buying it, I never had any experience in assembling models before.

Assembly is easy usually. Detailed painting is always the hard part for me.

Whoa, robot fetish?

Now that's one i cannot understand.

>> No.1828296

/m/ would probably know better about gunpla and models and stuff like that, actually.

I can't help it, honestly.

But hey, it's a pretty tame fetish, no?

/m/ and /tg/ probably have the most experience with things like this.

This. Unless you don't care about your model looking like plastic ass, expect hours of painting. Also try /m/ for plamo advice.

Yeah, i just cannot grasp the fascination.

I mean even doll joints seems pretty erotic compared to this.

Aegis is a good robot waifu, she fights the embodiment of the human desire to die for her husband.

They vary. This one looks like it's a snap-together that will look fine without painting ( about the equivalent difficulty of an HG gundam kit.) You'll probably have an easy time as long as you're equipped with an x-acto knife, some sand paper, and a bit of patience.

>> No.1829674

@OP; Putting models together isn't difficult, but if you want it to look good, you'll need to paint and panel line it. Depending on the quality of the model, you may also need to use some glue, even if it's marketed as being snap fit.
