How weak is Seija actually? She's always descriped as a low-level youkai, but she seems to fare surprisingly well against real big-shots.

She's weak in a true battle to the death. She is really strong in spell card duels though. The ones in ISC are still considered spell card battles because they still use spell cards. The only thing about them "breaking" the rules is because they emphasize hitting the opponent and use "impossible" to avoid patterns rather than beauty in the danmaku itself. So yeah, Seija isn't that strong power-wise but I still think she's one of the best danmaku duelist in Gensokyo. It's even more impressive if you consider she could beat all of ISC without using her cheat items. Some /jp/ anon years ago once speculate if the others are using cheating danmaku, wouldn't it make sense if Seija, being the contrarian that she is, use fair and square danmaku? That's awesome if that's true.

There's no need for more youkai rabbits. She creates them to bolster her numbers. She couldn't care less about them personally, they're only numbers. The excuse of giving them a taste of good life is a farce. If anything, she's doing that knowing their suffering will be worse when they are inevitably abandoned.

Explain to me how selfishly sacrificing others' happiness for your own selfish ends, when that sacrifice involves starving/being murdered/dying alone only to be reborn under the unbreakable thrall of the youkai that put you into that predicament in the first place is NOT evil.
