Yukari has access to pretty much everywhere and no one knows where she really resides. Yukari doesn't normally get involved if nothing is truly happening either.

I'll believe it, this fits what some anons were speculating earlier in the thread about having a representative for different realms. Having the gatekeeper(s) to Makai and Hell would explain why we got Yukari playable, because we don't really know how they connect to and affect Gensokyo's border.

A few other things to note on the jewel case: the red & blue silhouettes fit their colouring, the blue silhouette could be interpreted as sitting cross legged like the original sprite, and there are a few faint pink circles which may relate to the yin-yang sprite.
