In MGE, there are multiple heroes and they can compete against monsters but they're not OP PLZ NERF.
In Ranceverse there's only 1 hero at a time, and they are stupidly strong and get even stronger the more humanity is killed off. At least 50% of humanity needs to be dead for the Hero to be strong enough to slay the Demon Lord. Whenever the Hero dies off, or turns 20, they lose their power and a new hero between the age of 13 and 19 is chosen at random.
