It's a tough thing to deal with for a lot of people in your shoes, still, it's just something you kind of have to live with, as horrible as that may sound.
But even though she's not real you can still live your life for her, anon. Be the person she would want and do what you think would make her happy.

Oh, and a follow up to what I said because I foolishly thought I would have the first response, try and not let hateful anons like the ones before (and probably after) me get to you. It's tough to endure because there are A LOT of people who get strung up about this (for some reason), if you feel a strong love for her it's best kept a secret only shared by those who you know for sure are okay with this sort of thing or do what you do.

Eh, maybe. I haven't played her route but I can only assume the characters were written to have a grain or two of realism to them and, as such, end up being likeable characters for it so a person like Hanako, timid but knows how to have fun, isn't entirely out of the realm of reality. As for what kind of life she would want you to live, if her route didn't hint towards that then it's safe to guess that she would want you to live a happy and successful life where you pursue your life goals.
It's not like it's a hard thing to understand, it's just having a grain of tolerance, is all.
