Just started playing FKG on DMM a week ago and it's comfy as shit. Almost level 50 just from farming events and am sitting on about 30 gems, already have 5 5*s from the gacha and all of them except Red Tulip are fucking yellows which is making progress very difficult
Should I prioritize evolving my stronger units or raising the weaker 5* ones with manyus? Also, after the initial rush of free gems wears off, how long does it take to save up enough gems for an 11-pull?

Having stronger FKs across the board will probably help you more if you're just focusing on events for the time being.
If you're looking to reach/farm some of the harder subjugations sooner, then you'll probably want to divert resources into just getting two strong teams first.

And it rains FGs most of the time as there seems to always be some sort of log-in campaign for each month. This along with playing though two full event periods will usually result in ~50 easy FGs.

I'd say evolving is better because it doubles affection bonuses, but both are fine as long as you make sure to do events for extra manyus. There was a recent experience bottleneck because of the fast implementation of second evolutions, and they're trying to fix this by adding new ways to level now (we've seen special map keys and Naae so far). If this trend continues, you can take advantage of it for easier leveling.

On a per-month basis, you should get 34 from event + limited time revival, 2 from event character affection, 14 from second affection, 46 from daily log-in/regular log-in campaigns, something like 25-50 from special log-in campaigns, and bonuses from NND broadcasts (there's one at the end of this month, by the way) and apology compensation for bugs and maintenance extension. I'd say 110-130 per month is a decent ballpark estimate, provided that you do all available content (including whale for the blooming hearts).

For general use, Ingrid would be worth leveling first. If you're tank starved and trying for Majin Advents, Cornelia would be a better fit. Ingrid is really, really strong once she has her SAW, and I've found damage specialists to be more universally useful than tanks. 30 seconds of 70% MR cut, three target attacks with a quick attack speed, and a range and damage multiplier on top of all of that is no fucking joke.

Yes, having a lot of blacks is definitely hard on your resources. That extra 50-100k per AW and those extra orb requirements add up fast.

Rerolling will probably be around 10 minutes including making a new dmm account.

Use a temp mail on sign up, preferably one with recovery, when making a dmm account. Salted mails used to work too but I started getting error messages personally last time I tried using them. If you used a temp mail make sure to change it to a legitimate mail once you get an account worth keeping asap. There's a good chance you'll get forced to reset your password on the next login which is why you'll want a temp mail with recovery capabilities since you'll need access to that email.

You should have 2 rolls after finishing the tutorial, 1 in crystals and another from the free daily. You can get a third with minimal effort from 3*ing one more story quest and getting some crystals from your gift box.
You could skip the third roll if your first two rolls are absolute garbage but getting a black on the third roll should pretty much excuse the first two being garbage anyway.

In certain situations, Sylvia can be hard to work around because of the long ramp time, so Cornelia can be worth it, being that she's healable and doesn't need setup. I wouldn't put her too high on the priority list though, since you've already filled that slot. Maybe some firepower or support would be better.

I'd personally go with some ranged DPS, honestly. Cornelia is a very dedicated endgame unit, and can be replaced easily because most situations don't call for her extreme specialization in defense. You can still get her to have a brick wall that will tank anything that can possibly be tanked, but Sylvia is more versatile in many maps because of her self-sustain and ability to do damage.

In fact, Sylvia will carry you so well in early game that you have the freedom to pick whomever you like.

I have no idea how these things are done, but I expect that their regulars (TAKTO, Moneti, Kurot, shuz, Bouryoku Nyachou, Utsurogi Akira etc.) are routinely re-commissioned as they deliver. There also seems to be a few months between the draft of the art and its release, as seen in the art previews in their NND broadcasts (which sometimes lack finishing touches like the flowers/nation icon behind the girl).

Speaking of these, do we know who draws them? They're so consistent in style that I think they have an entirely distinct artist for it, and if so, that guy has my respect. More like, it depends on your spending patterns. I'm living in third-world shithole, doing long-range contract software engineering for ~2500$/mo. I spend 500$ on food, 1000$ on other living expenses, taxes, utilities bills and so on and have 1000$ free for random spending. I guess having no family and owning my house helps since I pay no rent or loans.
