First you should be getting Tactics Instructor Katie from completing the missions on right button on the fourth tab of the mission menu.

After that you can progress through the main story to get silver units or try and do some of the first missions of the 5th tab in the mission menu which rotates daily to get platinum event units. As you get stronger you can get more copies of the plat units by doing more and more of their missions and getting more drops (First drop is guaranteed for each map)

Ignore both current collection events, you probably won't be able to get anything out of them.

The "attack if you have a target, heal otherwise" mechanic is incredibly wonky, they should get rid of that and the class will do fine. "Heal one target (if available) while attacking one enemy (if available)" should be their base characteristic.

Then you can move onto "add X% of the damage you dealt to your heal" (Belzetta) and "X% of the damage you dealt becomes an extra AoE heal" (Verdinath/Dorothea) as skills. This isn't even a powerful buff since all it does is allowing dark priests to heal consistently, I guess they could get a cost increase and/or have their skill heals nerfed to offset their doublecast advantage over vanilla healers.

I suggest to concentrate on gold units early on if you dont have good platinum or black characters to fill their role. Get an archer (Clair is good), healer (Iris), soldier (Katie), a witch (Cloris) and a mage (Mehlis). Get them awakened and level them till AW50. I suggest using normal units as exp fodder until lvl 40, then use platin armors with three fairies until lvl 60 and then use gold exp fairis to reach ~lvl 80. This should give you enough power to crush most early and some mid tier missions. Add a second archer and healer then. Use silvers to fill gaps until you know what you want your team to look like. Use the black ticket to get a really powerful unit to carry your team early on, most poeple pick the bow rider or healer or feng shui. Or get Amanda as duelist and boost to your gold reward, gold armor drop rate and platin armor drop rate. She also boosts other bandits if you skill AW her.

EXP fodder generally comes from story maps. Just throw the bronze and iron units you get at it.

There are dedicated EXP units like armors (platinum and black) that give large amounts of EXP and fairies (all rarities) that act as multipliers to the amount of EXP you get from other units they're combined with, but you won't have many of these starting out.

Also I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but don't class change a unit before they hit level cap. You'll permanently lose stats if you do.

I can't really remember what the good EXP maps in the first part of the story are, honestly. I always liked Tower Overwatch (25 charisma). Just find a good map and try to get a 3* clear with all of the drops so that you can auto-complete it for fodder.

Once you get to the desert maps, you can use Fiery Oasis (30 charisma) for a loooooong long time (or Base Scramble II (40 charisma) if you push a little further). Those will last you until you clear the jungle maps, which is really far down the line.

Every Black unit in this game is basically game warpingly powerful, just some are more so. The content where there becomes "Top tier Blacks" and "Low tier Blacks" is really end game stuff that you probably won't even sniff for a few months after you start playing the game.

So at this point I'd say at least with your first pick just take whichever girl you like the most design/h-scene wise and then if you feel like you want to pick someone meta do so after.

I'm not too far in majin either (only Amon, Vepar and recently Bifrons at 10), so take this with a grain of salt, but this seems like a very solid endgame team even without Lapis/Aisha.

You would only struggle with Barbatos, who decreases range so heavily that Elyse and Saria stop being able to reach most melee slots at level 7 onward, and Shuten, who has a rush map and requires AoE clearing power/kill-based UP generators (pegasus knights are great in his stage).

Furfur could be difficult too, but manageable with Rion (to kill the demon magi), Saria and slow, hard hitters in Dolce and Frederica. Rion can also take out Phenex/Bifrons/Amon really fast, so you won't have many problems with these stages either (especially Phenex, which must be killed to remove the regeneration effect).

Some silvers never really go out of style due to cost reasons. Leeanne has higher defense than even Bernice until you AW Bernice, which is stupid good for a low-cost silver unit you can drop for only 17 UP. Mischa can be dropped for 8 and has 50% evade and a self-heal. Alyssa has increased healing range at a low cost of 15.

Just depends on what you level. Some silvers aren't really that great, but honestly just level whatever fills a gap you have in your lineup. They can always be replaced later.

Top-tier passive, insane damage that only becomes better on favored enemies. Longer range than most DPS units too, which is often overlooked but crucial because it enables more placement options.

Dolce is already an ideal majin unit and Socie is a better Dolce in almost every way. Her only downside is that she's strictly single-target, so you must clean up trash with your other units to let her snipe the big bosses.

She excels as a good burster. Archers don't do as much damage as her in one hit, but does overall better sustainable damage. Pirates are in between Monster Slayers and Archers, they hit slow but hit a good amount but usually have a skill that negates that or is something special. Socie, in a single hit with her skill, can hit 3k damage to one unit.

This usually one shots most enemy units, but due to her low attack speed she does not help much against waves of enemies. However, her main attribute is her 1.6 extra damage to youkais. Youkais generally do not come in waves and have slow attack speed. They're quite common, have plenty of high health annoying bosses and mini-bosses. Socie is the perfect pick to just delete them from the map.

A healer is highly recommended, Elyse and Rinne would both make your life much easier. Liana is cute but not really black material.

Other strong choices are Rion and Nanaly to burst down big bosses with dancer support, Cornelia for tanking anything that can be tanked, Kayou and Moltena for fast ranged magic/true damage from melee slots, and Aisha for an all-in-one support package (but note that Aisha absolutely requires AW/SAW for full potential).

But there are very few truly sub-par blacks, so you can also single out the girls you like and ask around for the best picks within that pool.

It's a box gacha event, but:

1. Instead of being randomized, you get Skullcap, her skill/slot flowers and the event equipment at 15 draws each.
2. At the end of the event, you get special fodder (think manyus) that will give experience equal to Naae's experience, and will have Naae's weapon type (which is why you can influence it with the daily macaroons). Since Naae accumulates a ton of experience, this is kind of similar to Aigis' Happy, except you can change her attribute for a 1.5x bonus.
3. At the end of the event, if you fed Naae enough to raise her to the maximum level (14), you get her as a garden item under her weapon type (so switch it up the next time this kind of event comes around).

Essentially, this is the event where you marry your flower wife, settle down with her in Kodaibana and raise a cute Naae together.

Are you kidding? DS is most ridiculously owerpowered class already. Attack may seem low, but its pure DPS, and any increase would make them even more insanely strong.
So most likely fist class will be pure stat buff, letting them melt even high-hp enemies in no time and soloing kami-tier maps.
Second will be some gimmik. Now, there are plenty of options for it.
Most sensible one will be to buff their tokens, because they are summoners at least in the name. It could be black ranged scythe demon or that red-green paralysing demon. Paralyzing would be fucking awesome, because it will synergize well with DS herself -- demon immobilizes target in her range and she melts him before he wakes up.

Another awesome one would be simple range buff. Short range is pretty much only drawback of DS class.

Third direction would be making their aura to have debuff effects. Slowdown, lowered ATK or/and DEF or/and MR. This would also make sense because when enemies, auras usually have such debuffs.

She's harder to use than you think, there's a ton of ramp up time and she's really weak to getting poked down by ranged attackers if you don't have other OP units to clear everything else off for her.

For example, Amon 15 can be tanked with Silvia easily in a vacuum, but that's contingent on having other broken units to dps down the two staff wielding demons and shit before they can start moving or they will just kill Silvia before she can ramp up. In the end for my clear, it was really dependent on the fact that Moltena and Nanaly are broken rather than Sylvia soloing everything by herself.

Nah they're pretty easy, each spike comes in at intervals of 5 but a few can get iffy with 4. Majinn's really depend on what units you have I think for the most part since stuff like Barbatos' is trivialized but having Sylvia man-handle him near his tree so he doesn't destroy you.

Some of the earlier ones are doable with just silvers and maybe a Berna thrown in for tanking the actual boss in the first couple levels. You might struggle with level 5 and Shuten Doji will also possibly be extremely difficult to deal with if you don't have a decent unit to tank him with. A lot of it will ultimately rely on what blacks you end up picking/rolling and how they fare against the Majin's mechanics.

This. Everybody should know this shit. It's like rolling dice and having the 6 be the black. If you roll a single die, the average will ALWAYS be 3.5 so you're never going to get a black. You have to roll all together or at least as close together as possible. The faster you are, the better the chance.

The chance to roll a 6 on a dice is allways 1/6 or 16,6%. I wouldnt bet on that but its not inpossible. The chance to roll one 6 in 6 rolls is also not 100% but actually ~64%. You should really not be doing any gambling with your mememathics.

Single pulls or massive pulls have the exact same chances.

The only reason to not do single pulls is saving up for a specific black's rateup.

If by solo you mean "I can only ticket one for my team", Sol, Amaterasu, AW Gaia, Cthulhu, Athena, Dark Amaterasu, Ryuuou, AW Svarog all bring either lots of utility or straight up broken-ness to their teams.
If by solo you meant also that they can be used to some extent in other element teams, then Sol and AW Gaia, with Amaterasu and perhaps Athena also being somewhat viable. A proper grid will however make even SRs better 99% of the time.
