Although Castle is arguably the least interesting of the lot, I'd hardly call it or any of Mogeko's games derivative. The Witch's House and its ilk are full of tired horror tropes, but Castle is downright abstract at times and its horror teeters on the edge of comedy in a way that is uniquely Mogeko.

The problem with Mogeko is that most of his characters are introduced and written in a way that seems like you should know about them already, like there's an origin work where they get a "proper" introduction and their appearance in the game is just a cameo
