What the fuck are all these play modes on eclale.

First time playing with paseli today and I don't into moon runes. 4 different ones for 100 and 1 for 150.

Also does eclale not have an extra or course mode? And everything seems unlocked.

Send help.

like for reference i used to use 360 gn and people called it slow

you will want to read faster and faster as you get into more dense charts but for now i would at least recommend dropping it to like 400

it can help to bring your lanecover down somewhat as you do it, you'll still have the same gn, technically same time to react, but the notes will scroll slower. like i went from 360/330 to 370/325

Do you have cheap shipping+import taxes and do you have easy access to tools? That pretty much decides on if it's cheaper to build your own.
I built my own controller from mdf+acrylic for about 150€, because a fp7 would be close to 400-500€ after shipping fees and customs.
Then again, if you live in clapistan and get a fp7 from the US warehouse, it might not be significantly cheaper.

I made a wip guide + design files for a controller if you want to check out my design:
https://github.com/Lipastomies/BMS-ASC

We have lots of people with their own cabinets, years of ITG/oITG/Stepmania, and (I’ll agree with this) generally the physical advantage. Dance games are fairly accessible in the US too, with R1, D&B, and private arcades/cabs.

It’s very similar IMO with why the Japanese/Koreans spank Westerners at IIDX (BMS, developing technique, access to cabs, etc.).

Key sounding would be nonsensical since the button layout limits note density. Honestly, only IIDX, pop'n, and DJMax have true key sounding. GitaDora has this weird "key sounded but lolnotreally" thing going for it and all other music games worth mentioning don't have any
>Too much 2hu
Already stated but agreed.
>Giant timing window
It's not any different from most Bemani games. IIDX, pop'n, and DDR are outliers and should not be treated as the status quo. GitaDora, Jubeat, Museca, Beatstream and MAYBE RB are around the same neighborhood as SDVX in the sense that getting a max score on a boss song is not a once-in-ten-blue-moons impossibly rare event. Lasers and holds contributing to combo skewers scores too much so a scoring system akin to EX score would not work at all.

Here's some other valid complaints:
>Some laser patterns are super janky and going for UC/PUCs on some songs is essentially luck-sacking

I played with one when I was just starting out. Its a little iffy with how small the buttons are and how they are placed in relation to each other. Also using the stick itself as the turntable gave me some terrible pinky cramps after a while. Its definitely doable though

>> No.17823103

Just got my FPS EMP in the mail. Do I need an allen wrench to move the buttons closer to the turntable? Also the 5 button kind of feels like its catching on something before it gets pressed in all the way. Should I email them about it/return it? Because thats supposed to be one of the features of the controller. I wanted to at least see how it feels. I'm never going to play in an arcade anyway so why should I care about having accurate distance if the other setting ends up being more comfortable.

Thanks for the advice. What would flipping the button do exactly? It doesn't take any more effort to push the button itself. It just feels kinda chunky compared to the others.

There isn't an even amount of space between the button and holder, so it only fits in a specific orientation and scrapes against the holder otherwise. Supposedly this isn't a problem with Sanwas, but this is one way to fix it at least.
You can also file down the sides of the button if you're really desperate, but you only just got the controller so I wouldn't recommend it obviously.

"4, You can adjust the distance between the buttons and the turntable. You can select KOC style or ASC style, 70mm or 90mm."

and to answer the guys question yes you just undo the screws, including the two screws just to the right of the TT, move the panel over, screw it in using those newly exposed TT side screwholes, and put the two screws in to cover up the screwholes exposed far edge now.
