To anyone who's played Taisho Alice, what can you say about the moon level of the game? I'm trying to learn Japanese and I'd like to give it a try for practice.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend it to someone just starting out. Not that I'm saying it requires high proficiency, but the first time I tried the demo a couple years ago it was over my head (Alice and his long winded ranting didn't help). Only later, after I had gotten more comfortable reading, did I tackle it again and do a full playthrough. You can try out the demo if you want to get a feel for it.

Trickstar's SS arc was put off for 2 years, so it makes sense to finally get to it.

That said, the stories this year are such a mess. Chuuni prose and unbalanced character focus were there from the start but it's getting out of control, and now there are straight up inconsistencies that had to be rewritten. Mama was a mistake, since he basically has Chiaki's personality Chiaki had to be toned down to compensate. Happy Elements has been trying to justify Izumi's psychotic homo breakdown since the main story, so in "calming" him down all the other Knights (except Tsukasa) have to be extra stupid homos with dependency issues. Fleur-de-lis is supposed to be after Judgement yet they acted like they learned nothing over the year. It's like the more a character gets written the worse they become.

And you can't even call any allusion to YOI like that ice skating scout a coincidence because HE went on record to say that they study how popular it is. This company. No wonder you never hear of Ensemble Stars players who are happy playing Ensemble Stars.

I didn't mind it too much before when I started playing a few months ago because I had to read most of the stories in the wikia, but damn, I hate how Akira writes so much.

Biggest mistake, yeah, I agree. His scenes with Chiaki were quite hard to read as it felt quite unnecessary.
Not that I have read all his stories but is there even importance to Madara's character? Chiaki didn't even need the edgy-shit to begin with and I'm pretty sure that a few 3rd years can handle expanding Kanata's backstory instead.

Akira is truly a hack. HE should get someone to co-author the whole thing or at least someone who can keep the main author in check.

New episode of Code:Realize is surprisingly good. Much better than the previous episodes for sure. Of course, the backstory around Van and Delly is more expanded in the visual novel but I may have liked their fight scene in the anime better because it feels more personal.

Basing on the preview, it looks like Lupin/Cardia romance will develop earlier than expected because the first scenes looked like they were anime original but we'll see. At least we'll finally get Sholmes in the next episode so I'm looking forward to it.

Have you read the side story Lionheart? Izumi was in love with Leo who then disappeared which caused him to have a psychotic breakdown in fear that Makoto would break as well (hence the kidnapping). There is no heterosexual explanation for his breakdown and I think they've given up on trying to justify it in an no homo way.

I agree it was anticlimactic but Leo wasn't ready to get on stage yet. A lot of knights storyline is just Izumi/Leo angst and drama which if you like the ship, is great, but if you hate it then it's insufferable. I don't know if anyone else watched enstage JoK but I really liked how they expanded on judgement a lot.
