I just finished the chapters 1-4 with ps3 sprites and voice acting, how do I move forward to chapters 5-8? Is there a version with ps3 sprites and voice acting as well? Or just the voice acting?

Is pic related the way to do it? It was the first torrent I found

Also I feel extreme regret over getting spoiled, until chapter 2 I still thought everything I was being shown was real even after Virgillia told me to look past it, I was so out of the loop at first that as I played I kept a notebook writing dates and names since I wasn't spoiled at that moment and people told me I was supposed to figure it all out myself

>> No.17706726

Also I have a question, when I first started playing i saw Shannon's one winged eagle tattoo on her leg and I immediately thought "oh OK so Shannon is a hidden or secret family member that will be brought up eventually" then later on, when Beatrice shows up in chapter 2, when Kyrie sees her, I inmedietly noticed that she also had a eagle on her leg, so I was like "OK so Shannon is Beatrice and she is a hidden secret family member"

But nothing came of it, it was never mentioned that she had a tattoo on her leg, I kept waiting but it never happened, and even worse, the tattoo was on her other leg, it all felt so obvious that I just dismissed it and focused on different things

What was the deal with that, Shannon has a winged eagle tattoo on both legs? Was it just a prank to switch which leg it was on? Is it ever brought up that she has an eagle just like Eva?

You don't NEED it to understand the mysteries. It should be pretty clear after Episode 7 who the culprit is. All you need to do then is go back through the crimes to come up with the tricks. All the manga does is confirm the answers you should have already thought up on your own, while also adding in some bonus content that helps you understand the motive.

No, I just took the game for what it was : a game. The only layers I really cared about was Ange's story, and the witches' layer, because they happened outside of Rokkenjima and thus can be "true". Beatrice always refers to the murders as games, so I never really bothered trying to solve them, and you have very little to try to clear the witches' story (since they're fairly unpredictable), or Ange's story.

The whole murder mystery with Rokkenjima is just a filler to keep the audience distracted from Eva's and Ange's story, who's the only interesting story since it actually move forward, and gives a nice conclusion to a really depressing story.
In fact, isn't it explained as some point in the story that all the murders that Battler try to explain are actually forgeries created by some weird people on Internet?
Poor Eva, she should've told the truth to Ange instead of playing the bad guy.
And what the hell is up with Ange's story in the school of Bitchy McBitches? School bullying (and orphanage bullying, and in fact kid abuse in general) seems to come up often in Ryukishi's works.

She tried to give the story an ending, but Battler wanted to hide Beatrice's dick from the public
She LITERALLY tried to unmask the culprit of a mass murder and Battler somehow thought he had the moral high ground

Iwaihime. Spooky doll is spooky and cursed and bad things start to happen. No translation yet, but it looks pretty much like Higanbana with all the edgynes and stuff.
Hotarubi no tomoru koro ni. Basically a prequel of Higurashi with Takano as the main character.
Trianthology. Alice in wonderland, but in the space, told in three apparently stand-alone stories that are connected together to form a single one. Translations about to arrive in twenty years.

Using a strawman goat to tell readers that there's only one way to enjoy a murder mystery is just being pretentious.

Most of the people criticizing don't even know what they are talking about and basically just copy and paste shit that the hatedom of Umineko said by the end of EP8 (the "Butthurt Goat Era" of the fanbase, in which 4chan became almost like an Umineko hatedom).

They act like easily offended tumblr girls for something they completely misinterpreted in the context of the story.

Different from the Rokkenjima Prime's Goats, we readers had an entirely privileged point of view of the story, thus making it fair play to us, although not at all for them.

In universe, the tales of the Golden Witch were a coup out, and people who didn't understood the story act like it was the same for real for a reason I don't quite understand, no matter how complex that thing is.

Seacats isn't for everyone, and besides the overall content and structure being genius I wouldn't blame at all any people for dropping it and calling bullshit on it by the very end.

Who in their right minds would reread 180 hours of VN when they just can get the essential info to solve everything by the very very end? I think that's why Ryukishi created the manga in a way it was like a answer book for those not wanting to bother reading everything from the start.
