It's one thing to be a throwaway extra in the earlier game era when there wasn't any real lore to speak of. That is forgive able.

But it's another thing nearly 10 years later to be a major end of stage enemy character/s in the 2nd half of the game and have about the same presence as mentioned previous throwaway midbosses despite having speaking lines.

That is a position that could have gone to a existing character making a return cameo or some other new character.

I dunno, the way I look at it, it feels like a waste of characters for the two midbosses to appear once without speaking and never be heard of again. I think it's the constant attention they get among the fans instead of more interesting characters from later games that makes me contempt with them in particular; a year or so back, Daiyousei ranked higher on the character poll than fucking Eirin.
