She might see some situational use over Karma. Her most interesting feature though is the racial bonus to goblins, which may mean that there are more goblin units in the pipeline.

Also, back-to-back rainbow on FKG and black on Aigis. Something bad is going to happen soon, isn't it now.

Rahab is a shit eidolon but the weapon is excellent, so yes. Of course if you're still missing SSR eidola in your grid you'd be ok with anything, but you can always grab some other eidolon next event.
By the way, you will be able to sell useless eidola much later for orbs (currency for better summons) so technically you should always try to grab everything when possible.

I'm not sure it was really such a good idea to have Rahab/Medusa back this early.
Ixion/Yata would've made more sense, so long as they were after the union event we should've gotten.

Thunder is still a shit element by the time Rahab would've arrived normally, but we're missing halloween Artemis (for what little a limited SR would matter), so there's little that could've been done, but for Medusa we're missing a bunch of actually good event weapons and even a free hime that's also good (Uzume), and I suppose the huge ATK statstick that's Sphinx?

It's pretty clear they did this to have halloween, christmas and anniversary events line up to happen exactly or during their proper dates.
Typhon/Garuda rerun doesn't exactly interfere with anything (and if anything helps with the huge drought of wind events), so they can afford to move it up, as for Medusa/Rahab going before Ixion/Yata, I have no idea why, it happened besides yeah, the other drought of events, with fire stuff.

The problem will be come 2018, where they'll have to move up even more events up to keep their schedule, or, not unheard of, make their own global exclusive events to later port as new events on DMM.
I'm not seeing the latter happening with Kamihime, at least, but I wanna see where this fuckfest is going. At the very least, this is better than nothing, which is what global F/GO is doing to have holiday events line up properly for example.

Should I even bother with those or just sell raid eidolons until I can buy them from the orb shop instead?

You can't buy any 3-skill accessories from the orb shop, and honestly I wouldn't recommend wasting orbs on accessories either. Yeah you absolutely should run the accessory quests, it's extra stats and small bonuses for your characters. They're pretty hard but SSR drop rate feels the same between 3rd and 4th stages, so if you can't do 4 yet at least try to run 3.
Also they require upgrading like weapons so you'll have to have a bunch of accessories to level them up, so it's not like a get 1 and you're done thing. To get an SSR accessory to level 50 you need a bit more than 40 SR accessories and quite a bit of money as well. How much money depends on the level it was when it was upgraded, but I end up spending about 90k if I don't get a great success on the first upgrade.

Proserpina is my favorite hime design wise and every pull I do that doesn't give me her weapon is unending sadness.

Nice to see that the lower-rarity characters are getting more love, although the folks who wanted to see pre-depression Forget-me-Not will have to wait for the next contest (most likely on February, for the third anniversary).

Hattori Masaki is especially fond of Mint and draws her regularly on Twitter, looking forward to an even lewder Mint from him. Him and Kuno Toya (Burnet and Mirabilis' artist) don't have many girls on FKG, too, so here's hoping that the new versions lead to more commissions from them.

I haven't touched FKG since they added the Whale Ships.
Thinking about trying it again to relieve some boredom, but it seems like there have been quite a few mechanical updates, the most immediately notable to me being that there doesn't seem to be a resource for relative ratings on the girls anymore (which I can only assume means there's more variable viability and/or customization options).

To make it simple, I just want to ask: are there any general "traps" I should be aware of?
This like how originally doing evolution without having extra experience to feed usually meant you ended up with a weaker girl until you could get their level back up and such.
I don't remember there being many ways to actually fuck up outside of the very obvious, but I still want to err on the side of caution.

Then again, even these are usually balanced in some way, Lycoris for example pays for her broken ability with the lowest stat total among all rainbows. They've also been experimenting with new abilities in bloomed characters, so the as-yet unbloomed girls have the potential to get something really good (or not, the "gain additional attribute" and "pest accuracy down" abilities for example are somewhat lackluster even on rainbows, though weak abilities are also routinely buffed).

As for traps, I don't think there's any beyond the basics (feed fairies of the matching type, decide carefully on which girls you want to invest ampules on, don't buy anything but skill flowers with life crystals, don't miss the current event and temporary revival), though note that the exchange tab has several new types of currency and you'll want to buy at least the first ten D-medals with your bond crystals each month. Bond crystals are obtained by selling/fusing bronze+ rarity girls (10/200/1000/12000 per bronze/silver/gold/rainbow, fusing and selling yield the same so never sell your gold/rainbow copies), and you'll get enough bronzes/silvers per month to buy the first 10 medals, which are are exchanged for D-tickets. These provide a guaranteed gold or rainbow, and if you get a gold from them, you also get 30 rainbow medals. If you get to 300 of these, you can exchange them for any rainbow of your choice.

The gameplay aspect is still there. I had a lot of fun doing last event's 90/12 map. Honestly, if you wanna make it more fun, play the game with silver units. I will say though, they are handling the balance between units real badly. A lot of the AW2 are boring and uninspiring. Stuff like AW2, stat buffs to units, some SAW, etc. are an example. I've heard of fans coming up with cool ideas like all ninjas should have autoretreat and/or Rakshaka ability to come back, witches should innately do more damage to melee units, rangers should do more damage to units that get trapped, etc. Makes me wish that some fans can be a part of the dev team.

You want to get the unit to lv50 before CC if you plan on using said unit, later in the game when you enter the awakening stage of the game you will need to use CC'd silvers to AW said units (alternative is using un-cc'd gold units but that's a waste) and those will be CC'd at level 30 instead of 50, because you don't want them as a usable unit but rather as fooder


Just keep that in mind, you won't need it any time soon since you are just CCing your first unit, but it's good to know at all times that all silvers are usefull and shuld not be used as exp fooder (or mincost for that matter) unless you have a buffer number of said class silvers and then use the 'exess' to mincost your main silvers

They have respectable defense but HP is their bottleneck. They're not going to be tanking much, especially if they don't buff defense or HP on skill use. 160 range is very limiting and they also cost an arm and a leg to deploy.

At the very least they could make this new one a weaker Viola or give her more range instead. Probably another shitter to the barracks, though. The high cost really kills the class for me.

I deploy Viola almost every chance i get. At first she is a bit flimsy so i deploy prince, Sandy, Elmira, Emperor, Vivian and Cynthia if possible. Granted not every mission allows that but once everyone is deployed and fired up Viola has over 5400atk with anti-air and her defence clocks in just shy of that. Against Angels, Demons and Orcs she has over 6500atk. Her only weakness then is magic so cynthia has to play lightning rod. But if thats not enough, i can throw in Lapis, fire her up and Viola goes to 9800atk against the three types. Ofc there are other units that can pull big numbers, but she can play tank, attacker and anti air.

Second scenes are ordinarily implemented alongside bloomed forms, with four girls getting them every other week on DMM. But Nutaku apparently rolled out blooming with a larger batch of characters than usual (well, now that's good news), so you may want to double-check on that.

Fourth character quests (that reward 2 extra flower stones) are also implemented with blooming, though again I don't know how Nutaku will be running things.

Not quite. Base XP means their XP from lvl 1. What's not multiplied is their XP from level ups. So for example, a female Silver normally gives 150 XP base, and then +7 per level (+20 per level if the unit is CCed).

Normally a lvl 20 Silver Female would be (150 + 7*19) = 283. However with 3* base it wouldn't be 3 * (150 + 7*19) = 849
It would only be 3*150 + 7*19 = 583
