If you really want skill, search for Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.

Controls are Z (shoot), X (bomb), Shift (Focus/Alternate) and Arrow keys (you can probably solve this one). Or you can use a gamepad.

In EoSD it gets really hard starting from Sakuya.
In PCB it gets really near-impossible starting from Prismdivers.

It seems like the only hard parts of the Prismriver fight is when one sister is playing solo. For example, the very first barrage. (Oh ho, why not get killed before the first spell card?) Their group spells seem comparatively easy.

Overall, I think PCB is easier than EoSD simply because it throws so many extra lives at you. As long as you don't suck at collecting point items, you can die 10 or 11 times and still have room to breathe. Add in Get Out of Jail Free cards in the form of cherry borders, and the game becomes much less daunting than its predecessor.

I can get to Remilia in Normal using all my continues, then get a game over.

I can get to Yuyuko in Hard using all my continues, then get a game over.

EoSD is harder.
