I remember the Autumn 2015 event where I farmed Prinz. She was on a combined fleet map that had air nodes with dangerous BWS and the node Prinz was in was at the end of the map in a node where PT imps were present no less. This was the original form of PT imps too where they were utter cunts to kill. And the kicker was the node wasn't even a boss so you went to all that trouble and you'd commonly walk away with nothing. So many buckets lost. So much fuel/ammo/bauxite used. That was a rough time.. I can't even remember how many attempts she took. It was nearing 200 I think?

Yes. The only way I can ever see myself leaving this game is if something drastically changes in my life, or if I actually reach a point where I find all events easy and can only focus on miniscule equipment improvements.

I still have so much to do in the game 2 years in and I love getting my shit packed in because all it does is remind me how far away I am from the end game. I also spent the first year and a half thinking night battles counted as a new battle so I never sortied on red even if the ship had sink protection. Switching to kuso to farm is going to make the process a lot longer. Play through the event at your pace like you said on hard and the drops will come to you. If your LBAS shits the bed and you can't get at least AP on both waves, try putting 1 or two more fighters in the base and load your carriers with more torps.
