This game? These characters? Shit. Just shit. Season game without Aki sisters, without Yuuka and without Letty just so we could get background dancers. Instead of an Extra boss (which is NOT supposed to be part of the plot continuity, hence 'Extra') we get super ultra powerful special epic secret boss AGAIN. Did Gensokyo need another creator? Did we need a job interview incident? No. No. This is just too weird.

In the end, it's the same as always. Some games are more deserving of hate than others, but people don't like change and when ZUN does something new it always gets a bad response. DDC and LoLK are endearing now, but when they came out they got plenty of anger and mockery too. It's just the same shit as ever.

The statue is depicting a famous Buddhist character who claim that he would never ascend until he freed every imprisoned soul from hell. He is also the protector of children.

Frankly he is very popular for basically being someone who believes that hell shouldn't exist at all. His staff is meant to force open hell's gates and free the souls within. His statues are placed all over Japan, in near random places.

I just read the extra stage dialogue. She does not exactly lose, she gets automatically ejected from battle by the door on her back and teleported outside, Okina confirms this claim. For some bullshit reason, children who die before their parents or even those who die before birth are sent to hell. The claim is that they made their parents sad and that is a sin. It seems unfair, and many Buddhists think so too.

And Buddhism agree with me. The majority of Buddhism doesn't even follow this part. Only in Japan did someone decided this applies.
