Your using the Core deck, am I right? In Anki using the card browser select any card and grab the filename of the audio track. Perform a search of your file system. It should return your media directory with said file.

Tools -> Preferences -> Backups -> Open Backup Folder.

That should open up the backup folder inside your anki directory, so you'll need to go back one folder and there you should see collection.media.

So, the obedient ankidrone I am I reached 1,5k words in core and decided that I wanna reduce anki to maybe 20min a day and start reading a bit more seriously (I read before, just not very much). At that time I was at 300 reviews/day. After a few days of setting the new-words-counter to 0 I got it down to 200/day but now it seems that no matter how hard I try, I can't get it below 190 reviews a day, even after 1-2 weeks of not adding new words.
It currently takes me about an hour to finish my reviews. It seems like I just can't remember the Kanjis after about 10 days of not seeing them. Is there another way to reduce my reviews per day aside from killing myself for my advanced mental retardation?

Of course I could just stop core altogether and make a mining-deck (which I will do at some point) but I don't want to forget the words I already learned in core.

Try another method of learning the Kanji? Do you know how to write them? Practice using them in a sentence and write them out by hand. Use jisho or something to find common usage. This also pulls double duty for you since you will be practicing reading at the same time.

I would say stay away from ones you're confident in. When you come across a kanji you've forgotten as you do your cards write it down and come back to it.

Sounds good to me, I did essentially the same thing as you starting 6 months ago and I'm now a little over a thousand words into core and have about a thousand words mined (and learned). I suppose I'm a slow learner compared to others here, mainly because I found that I couldn't really memorize (and differentiate) the kanji unless I write them down repeatedly (I've filled multiple college ruled notebooks) so that slows me a lot.

My advice is to take it ez, imo burning out is the worst outcome.

I kind of realised my reasons for learning Japanese were flawed. I told myself if I learn Japanese I will be able to read untranslated manga, VNs etc but I barely even read translated ones that I would be interested in now.

I watched all 3 season of Gokusen when I barely started with anki and started mining by ear and trying to follow the story, which was much easier than I thought it would be.

Also it's not all that uncommon to be uninterested in translated media. Reading translated VNs/Japanese media felt very cringey to me and I couldn't enjoy the text, so before I learned Japanese I was just speeding through them for the "plot". When I started reading them in Japanese I actually enjoyed them on a line-to-line basis and started seeking out writers with interesting prose. There's also the fact that the translated selection is garbage so that could be a factor too. As long as you like media and fiction there'll be something for you out there though I can't really relate to you there because I have hundreds of things in my backlog that I am very excited to experience.
