What was the VN that made you become a VN weeb?

I think Fate/stay night or Ever 17 made me a fan, I read them around the same time and then when I played Muv-Luv Alt later on, that moved me the most emotionally.

FSN for sure.

weeb is not a synonym for otaku

My first VN was Higurashi, but my first standalone VN was MuvLuv and that made me into a fag that must sing 明日への咆吼 every time I go karaoke.

Danganronpa and Psycho Pass. Honestly had fun. Higurashi and Umineko including Saya No Uta were great.

The very first was Higuarshi , but yume miru kusuri got me interesting into it, instead himanatsu in 2013 got me so hocked into Vn that i started to search one as good as that one Storywise, the art were crap but the Story of Hina got me so into Vn i tried even Asairo, which was exceptionally hard to read with the dictionary in my hand.

Was super into KEY works, with the AIR and Kanon 2006 anime being fansubbed. Wanted to play the work that started it all and then I continued on from there to Tsukihime, F/SN, and Ever 17.

First one I ever read was Shuffle and I did it completely blind. I couldn't read jack shit.

I wonder if you really know what that term means, or are just repeating it because all the cool condescending kids on /jp/ use it.

It's been a while but I think it was probably Fate/Stay Night. Only started enjoying it during UBW though.

First untranslated was Flyable Heart.

Probably, it's how it is with these modern ADHD riddled secondaries who can't hold interest for something unless there are a million flashing lights in their face at all times.

Higurashi stuff was my first too. I then checked Yume miru kusuri and really enjoyed it. It made me feel all kinds of weird emotions. But what really nailed the coffin for me was Saya no Uta.
I really haven't found with similar vibes to Yume miru kusuri or Saya no uta, but there have been other good ones, more romantic ones.
I honestly haven't read a VN in a few years now, I should see whats out there again. I miss those comfy days of doing nothing but blasting through them.

I liked it, but it completely shattered my expectations of VNs. Then I read Yume miru, and FSN

My first VN ever was FSN. My first VN in japanese I was Tsujidou-san.

>> No.17361745

Majikoi was my first one. It was a good first experience, because it was a fairly easy entry to the medium, with high quality voice actors (which I like) and some comedy on top.

After that I had the Muv-luv experience and got hooked. Recently my interest has stagnated a little. Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception was decent.

What the fuck is a VN weeb? A weeaboo character in a VN? How do you get inside a VN in the first place? Why do you expect there to be fictional characters posting on /jp/? Please, when you ask a question be more specific so I know what you're asking for.

First VN I read was Grisaia. I really liked the anime so I looked for the source and got to reading. Had a blast so I downloaded a few other VNs that I'm working through very slowly. Rewrite and Kara no Shoujo are two that of those that are sitting around waiting to be read.
