She's slow and her physicals have shitty reach.
She doesn't have power backing her like Tenshi and she doesn't have the strategic-slow that Komachi has.
Her cards, while downright fuckawesome, are slow and easily blocked and avoided.
She's not built well.

She's definitely slow but her range is pretty long and deceptive, and hits a little farther than her sprite shows. All of her special moves save her 214BC are pretty good, and her weakest special is easily remedied by replacing it with a stronger skillcard.

Nope, she doesn't have ridiculously high damaging BnBs like some of the other cast.

Komachi's range is just around Iku's; the difference is that her attacks cover wide angles while Iku focuses on striking only one area with long reach.

And this means LOLBLOCKED.

And using spell cards in combos has always backfired on me for anybody except Youmu.
I use them straight up mid-combat and they tend to work out fine. I've even had Iku top Patchouli with her spell cards as counter moves. But they're typically the slowest (excluding loltenshi), and they all can be blocked and grazed easily.

That's also one reason why I love Komachi; some of her cards are tricks and most can be played at any time. Except the legendary role-reversal Regretful Life/Unregretful Life.

Iku has retardedly long range and free-directional flight that Patchy and Yuyu use, so this isn't really a problem. If they block, they block. Keep up the momentum from there and keep linking her moves. But you'll still be surprised how far the reach on her f.5A and j.2A can be.

There's one thing Komachi has that Iku doesn't, and that's air traps. Lazy reaper's got good ways to punish you if you try jumpouts or block in the air.

...Comboing Iku's spellcards aren't very hard at all. It just takes a simple 5AA in the corner to combo into Giga Drill/Lightning Tango. If you're using spellcards all the time randomly, only the reversals will work, and Iku's isn't particularly fast.

You know, I really don't speak that crazy fighter game speak.
Quite simply, you lost me.
I just play the games and learn the moves by heart and hand, not by mind and eye. "5AA", while I've somewhat managed to figure it out (I believe it means A twice with no directional input), really just doesn't get through to me as I don't recall what Iku does for her "5AA".
Anyway, Melty Blood's done downloading. I'll be trying that, then.

That doesn't change the fact that it's slow and has a terrible wind-down time.

The quick characters eat her up and the slow characters all have things to fall back on (Tenshi-powah, Komachi-multi angles, Patchy-Spamspamspamspam, Reisen-Magic fast-slow duality with homing and all sorts of works-on-players-not-computer visionary gimmicks, and so on). She's really a blank character who's got a few tricky projectiles (RICOCHET) and awesome cards.

The angled down version tends to be used far more, since it doesn't float you, and also extends beyond what it looks like a fair bit.

She's got her B for decent spread, 6C for fast lightning, good at hitting them while throwing bullets, 5C lightning orbs eat space like mad. Drill (not giga) is very good it making them too paranoid to graze your shit, scarf whip helps there too. Same with the above image and the angled down version.

She's played passive agressively, and just because you don't know how to use her properly or haven't played a decent Iku means she's crap.

Can you play on Hamachi? I can't host for crap while on my regular wireless because my stupid roommates are torrenting again, and I'm stealing the neighbor's connection.

I suppose I'll keep this in mind; my method doesn't involve jumping often except to dodge. Combat tends to stay on the ground for me. (Which is why Komachi works so well.)

There's my downfall; I'm an aggressor. Komachi, Youmu, and Sakuya's where I rock the boat (hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr).

Oh ghad, why'd you have to mention Hamachi? That devil machination is the antithesis to my computer. I have blasted my computer to hell and back in my 3 attempts to get it to work (twice nearly failing to undo the damage to my computer's integrity afterwords) and I have not been able to do anything more than SEE other people (and they couldn't even see me back, to boot).
I've tried everything, looked up everything, and a thousand other things besides, but I CANNOT WORK HAMACHI.
