Same here. Every once on a blue moon I'll visit /mu/ or /x/, but /x/ is beyond fucked now and I'm not even sure why I bother.

we are getting too many kids from /a/ lately. I'm done with english speaking 2d culture. you guys need to stop recycling threads. you recycle threads because you do not consume raw material. "level up or shut the fuck up" isn't a policy I can enforce, so I do not come here often.

I go to /tv/ and sometimes /ck/
I mostly stay in /jp/ though, because /tv/ is very hit and miss and browsing /ck/ makes me too hungry.

I truly think that the split is what killed /a/. The less popular stuff, and the total loserness of the place kept people out. Now people can go on /a/ and relate, then spread to new boards. Seems Moot keeps making bad decisions. Sometimes I just want to fire up those /b/tards to flood /jp/, just so this strange painful hope won't be needed.

How do you reconcile your theory with the fact that /a/ was utter shit long before the split? Certainly the split made /a/ far worse, but rats or no rates the ship was already sinking.

I visit /jp/, /a/ (when I want to see people argue), /b/ (when I want to see some fail), /c/ (when I want to see request threads), /v/ (when I want to see people argue some more)

I go to /k/ occasionally and when /jp/ is really bad.

I still visit /a/, although I'm not entirely sure why. Does one good Eva thread a week make it worthwhile? I should probably just spend less time on 4chan and more time reading these VNs I have piled up.

The problem is bigger than /a/ falling. It opened the gate. People will become more comfortable with Japanese related stuff, but they will still have the same, or similar, opinions. i.e. Pedos are monsters.

I only browse 4chan to report promotions and trolls on /jp/. So few have lurked enough to see them. That's all I have left.

I visit /a/, /v/ but /jp/ is still by far the board I like most.

I don't think avoiding the split could've prevented this, I don't know that anything could prevent what's happening. It's a terrible world we're living in.

/jp/ is pretty much my home board.

I sometimes visit /a/ now and then, it sometimes has a few good threads, but those are few and far between.

I also go to /tg/ a lot, but really that content is even more exclusive than most stuff on /jp/ so very few people who arn't already into that stuff go there. Its not a very welcoming board, and thats why I like it.

Its like trying to troll /v/ too easy, hell they do a damn good job of trolling themselves.

I used to visit /a/ all the time. But haven't in months since it just kept devolving into mindless image dumps. Sure I get that this is an IMAGE board, but there used to be some fine discussions in /a/.

Next I moved to /v/ since I love the vidya. Sadly, no gaems isn't welcome there and worse still: an endless amount of furry threads disguised as "pokemon general".

/m/ was a rare but occasional visit in the past, but I seriously haven't been there in over a year. No new *good* mecha anime have been brought to my attention so.... yeah....

/co/ is alright. I don't read comics but reading about what's going on in them interests me enough. And there is the occasional thread about the cartoons I watch which is nice.

Which leaves me with /jp/. I'm not sure why I visit this board since kigurumi/touhou/aya/visual novels don't interest me. I guess this place just reminds me of /a/ but with less cancer. So I'll come over here, scroll through the first page, maybe refresh and check again, then usually just resume playing whichever vidya I'm currently on.

i only visit /jp/ and /v/ a few times.
/a/ is just bad and i dont go there anymore, i didnt watch Anime/Manga that much to begin with.

/jp/ is the only board left that is relative to my interests while having a good post rate and isn't overflowing with "normalfags," for lack of a better term.

I guess /co/ is alright, too.

Now that I've begun using Firefox and the 4chan extension, the boards are I normally visit quickly become pages of nothing but hidden threads. And that makes me feel like good god... how in the hell did I ever spend hours browsing 4chan? Fuck all of you who told me to go FF and get the extension. The power to hide threads has killed and greatly shortened my browsing experience. :(

The last time I was on /a/ was a few months back for Toonami's farewell. Good times.

I want to love /v/ but I have this uncanny knack for stumbling upon a general thread for a game I'm interested in only after the thread has reached 160+ posts and of course by that time it is far to late to join in the discussions.

A lot of people are talking about Video Games in this thread. I love the gaems, but they seem to be more leaned to casual gamers than HC Gamers. Too easy and not complex, Next Gen Graphics, but bullshit story and gameplay. I'm installing GTA:4 and am expecting nothing but disappointment. I know for sure that I'll hate it, but I still want to try.

I would lurk /jp/ far more if I had more time to actually go through my VN pile. Haven't done HF, C;H, or Clannad yet, and I need to download more.

The only board on 4chan I go to is /jp/.

/jp/ has the highest concentration of oldfags, so this is where I stay most of the time. /a/ is good for imagedumps from currently airing series, and /g/ is probably the most hilarious board on 4chan, but /jp/ is still home for now. It seems to be getting slightly better lately, to be honest.

I just come on 4chan for a quick laugh every couple of days for about 30 minutes, I used to stick around a lot more but eventually all of the posts and threads became a mish-mash of reposts.
