They do here. Or at least an adaptation of it. The book is copyright 1987 but they make a good case for its use over Hepburn.

I would have said something like:

いや、ミーティングは昨日じゃなくて、今日ですよ。今すぐ行きますよ。

to よｓ might be a bit pushy, but I guess the urgency warrants it.

"ti" is good form, but Using "zya" makes no sense to me. "z" and "ya" are a pain to type quickly. I'd stick to "ja" if I were you; you want to use as few keystrokes as close-together as possible.
